Lol, just got done telling you the themes don't work on the nightly builds...hard to tell what you have lost system wise....
 
How is 2.2.4 treating everyone? Got bored last night so i backed up and flashed a new Rom...feels like sorcery 2.2 is lacking butter...i was getting lag all over, especially when opening like messages, call log, play store, etc. Still loyal, testing the waters tho

very stable, but the custom airkernel they included in 2.2.4 was draining the battery FAST. I just flashed trinity kernel, now it's all good :D
 
Also, anyone having trouble with the lock screen volume controls? I'm not able to skip over tracks....
 
I tried that but it downloaded 2.2.4 with TEST in front of it. I didn't want to flash nightlies so I didn't install it. Is 2.2.4 through the OTA good now?
 
Was able to google wallet to work, I just had to restore the app only first then restore the app data using TiBu.



On another note would it be at all possible to have an option to have the speakerphone turn on automatically when you make a call? I have been using an app from the market "auto speaker" - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.swarly.autospeaker&feature=search_result

It doesn't work any more on 2.2. I tried a different app and it doesn't work either.
 
any x.x.x build will be all included with each update.
such as 2.2 you can go from 2.2 to 2.2.1 or straight to 2.2.4 thsi will always be the case in the future. as each increment will include all that the previous did plus the new stuff.

It is true these are listed as beta. all x.x.x builds
But they have been tested but not by 100's of users. 2.1 seemed ok until 3000 people got it and we found it to be very poor.
so thats why we switched to this. while we believe each x.x.x build to be stable.
we can get those brave soles to load it up and make sure it works with different configs so when we release a x.x build we have a good idea that its what it should be .

we insure kernels boot and seem to work before we put them up for you in the rom. but we dont extensively test them and its for convience, but cant guarentee the funciton of a kernel as its differnt for different phones. and some have problems with one while others think its the greatest thing on earth.

We also do this so people that want to setup their phones and be stable can also use themes that our great guys make. while we test out the level of stuff.

than well release that and the themer swill theme for the next x.x build and people can stay on that and enjoy the themes while others can test out the latest stuff.



i saw mention of us including a custom air kernel that is not true.
JBSourcery continues to come with the stock JB 4.1.1 R4 kernel.


someone stated 2.2 wasn't butter. kinda tired of that term already :) but i am not seeing this lag that is talked about at all.
But hopefully a full 2.3 when released will clean up whatever is going on there. as it does not appear to be the rom in its current state.


Lock screen music controls..must be turned on in magic control other than that they do work. not sure if they work with streaming ill test it out tommorow.



Also want to remind people we are stick with the LTE version of the phone. i dont know if its drivers. but im thinking its the 32 megs and why they stopped putting 32 mb in. But i can tell you that the gsm vrsion of the phone on the same rom kicks its ass in speed and smoothness.

so im thinking maybe its also dependent on how much of the 32 megs is taken up on your devices response, i dont know if that could be true. but other than the 32 megs as opposed t the 16 on gsm i would think the phones are identical and the speed difference is extremely observable.

Hmm. I tried restoring Google Wallet and it just hung infinitely. I eventually got the app installed but it's not the latest version, and the market won't let me update it.
 
Thanks eagle!! I made the butter comment...i will stop! Lol. I love this Rom. Also thanks for clearing up the incremental situation. Thirdly, i have noticed with new android 4.0 and up, the option in browser to click a phone number and dial it is gone...it only asks to send to contact....is that something that can be fixed? Or was that something that Apple prob had a patent to and sued android???
 
I need some help please!

I was on 2.2 and having alarm issues. It didn't matter if I used Alarm Clock Extreme or the built in one. If the phone was charging A/C or USB and the alarm went off the phone would reboot or crash. It goes directly to the boot animation then when it boots up there is a green flashing LED that I can

Yes it was removed because of apple. i have the old one. but not sure if you lose other stuff they may have added after. watch your phone close though as i am sure the power button will disapear in next source update as i know the ishit had a power button too so apple probably invented that too.

The only thing I use TIBU for anymore is the freeze option. Google back up does an outstanding job. You have to remember to set it to run during install. I suggest you do the clean install one more time allowing Google sync to run, and nothing else. Check an see if you still have this problem. If you still need to use TIBU for any reason do it one app at a time and see if it acts up. You are being told over and over again TIBU is the issue, give it a shot.

I know Titanium can be an issue that's why I only restore 4 games that don't have an internal backup and restore option.

Is it Titanium that's the problem or is it the fact of restoring an apps data? If it's Titanium could I use root explorer to backup the data? Let Google restore the app the use root explorer to restore the data.

Sorry for so many questions, I just don't spend enough time on the forums working 2 jobs and all. :)
