Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
I know Titanium can be an issue that's why I only restore 4 games that don't have an internal backup and restore option.
Is it Titanium that's the problem or is it the fact of restoring an apps data? If it's Titanium could I use root explorer to backup the data? Let Google restore the app the use root explorer to restore the data.
Sorry for so many questions, I just don't spend enough time on the forums working 2 jobs and all.
Yes it was removed because of apple. i have the old one. but not sure if you lose other stuff they may have added after. watch your phone close though as i am sure the power button will disapear in next source update as i know the ishit had a power button too so apple probably invented that too.
On some ICS ROMs I played around with what I can and can't restore with system apps. (if you're freshly swapping ROMs, if you mess it up, just wipe it and try again. Gotta love that.) It can get really finicky and end up causing problems. I try never to do so now. I've managed to restore the browser and a few other system apps with no ill effect on ICS, but didn't really gain much from that.I restore apps and data using titanium all the time with no issues, but I never restored system apps.
I received the feature request email.
Thanks for adding the landscape lockscreen in the next version.
ddint even know it was you that requested ill pull it now
did update kernels.. added a few new ones as well
ok so i just went to take a pic and i have flash set to auto and oh course its semi dark in the room and the flash get stuck on and i try to reopen camera but it says cant connect to camera and a reboot is in order. did it once before, i thought it was a fluke but it happened twice now. first time was on 2.2 this time was 2.2.4....
Interesting, I just tried to duplicate the problem and couldn't. I set flash to AUTO in a dark room and focused /took several shots.
Did you dirty flash the ROM? A clean flash may be in order here to isolate/eliminate the issue. If this was a clean install, then I'm at a bit of a loss.
clean install, its one of those once in a blue moon type things cus its not something that i can just replicate myself, it will just happen
I need some help please!
I was on 2.2 and having alarm issues. It didn't matter if I used Alarm Clock Extreme or the built in one. If the phone was charging A/C or USB and the alarm went off the phone would reboot or crash. It goes directly to the boot animation then when it boots up there is a green flashing LED that I can
Next to the pepper grinder and coffee mill.Sounds cool but, unfortunately im having trouble following you now. Usb charger to the side of the phone?
[KERNEL][JB][TUNA][MILv006 - EXPv057][13/09] --- AK --- - xda-developers that is the link.. i just found it tonight..
Has anyone getting random reboots on 2.2.4? I was stable on 2.2, but since flashing to 2.2.4, my phone has been rebooting at random regardless of what kernel I use (used the latest stable and nightly/exp. build of Franco and Leankernel). There doesn't seem to be any specific trigger for it. It has done it while browsing the web, playing a podcast (with Pocketcasts), when I plugged it in to charge and even while it's just sitting idle with the screen off. It seems to be doing it arounf 1-3 times a day.
Haven't tried wiping and reflashing yet. Is there a zip for 2.2.4 so I don't have to flash 2.2, then 2.2.4?
Thanks in advance for any help .
There are several Franco Kernels listed and two different ones for each Kernel build number. How do I choose among them?So let's get a bump for what kernel everyone is living with this beast. Im living Franco, great battery with performance, all others seen to heat up my phone. Tried glados for A day...that one seemed legit too,i didn't let it settle..but it seemed nice. I just have a hard time leaving what works..oh so well
