[Verizon] [ROM]JDX (formerly Jelly Belly) AOSP+ - v15 (7/28)

Hi again, folks!

Okay, full wipe and 3.2 flash with gapps 7-11 and TiBU restore.

Face unlock STILL doesn't work. :(
GPS locked in 15 seconds. :D
Google Now lady speaks... Navigation lady does not :(
BT works. BT voice dial works, but "speak now" lady still doesn't talk. I still have to time it and then tell it who to call on my own :(
1% Battery and Power Menu mods work great, as does Lean Kernel :)

Still exploring...

Then I won't be wiping if face unlock is still busted

I can also confirm that native tethering works fine :)

EDIT: one thing I'm missing, though, and I have a sneaking suspicion that it ain't here, is the ability to set ringtones for individual gmail accounts. I have 3 accounts on the phone; I want mail notification ringtones for 2 of them and silent on the third. It WAS in AOKP ICS.

Has anyone here found a way to do that in JB?

...i'm still hearing way too much variance in Quality of this build. Take 10 people and all 10 probably has a different or the same issue. I'm eying Lou's Redemption Rom build when it lands or maybe a newer version of BB.

It really seems that all of the JB roms that are out right now are in a beta form in my opinion.... <<<<----that is coming from a software tester by profession :)

Or take v2.5 and see that no one is having issues and on my end it's as solid and reliable as anything that's been put out on the GN to this day imo...and that's a nandroid altered to work on our phone.

Take it from a software tester and a colleague :D

You'll never know for yourself if you keep going off individuals reviews on a forum

My Proximity Sensor Is Screwing Up On Me. i Didn't Sees It In The Issues List. Started in 3.0. Anybody Else? Oh...The Issue Is That It Shuts Off And Will Not Come Back On Until The Other Person Disconnects The Call.

Coming from a clean flash? Install any mods?

Oh there's no argument, Trophy, that we're on the bloody tip of the technological spear with any of these JB builds. Good alpha+ builds, at best. But that's part of the excitement! :D

There are so few things wrong, and updates coming out so fast, that it's still gonna be my daily driver. Bugs will get fixed, and things will improve quickly.

And when Team Kang ever gets their hand in the pot with a comprehensive JB release loaded with options, you can bet that I'll jump on it. But for now, Jake is doing such a stellar job with Jelly Belly that I'm sticking with him. I even donated a few bucks to his beverage fund and recommend others do the same :)

lol you jonesin'? :p

Just curious it doesn't make a lot of sense to me...I'm always the person to flash the craziest and most experimental software and I'm fine but strange links that don't come from the developer themselves makes me nervous...I think I'll wait..

No harm it'll be up when it's up, right.

anyone else have issues with the phone not waking up? a couple of times in the past JB builds as well as once on the most recent build, my phone will not wake up and i would have to do a battery pull. I am running LK and think that it may have something to do with that and not the JB ROM. Just wondering if anyone knew what the cause was.

Slightly off topic, but when using TWRP and making a nandroid, would backing up System, Data, and Boot (the default checked off items) be enough, or should I back up Recovery and Cache as well?

LK being the culprit is most likely. I haven't had this issue at all on JB whether on the stock linaro compile kernel or franco. Only way to see is to go back to stock kernel and test. You can get the stock JB kernels here (both linaro based and not)

Only issue I've had so far is I cannot place a Beautiful Widgets Toggle Widget on my homescreen. That is something I use everyday.
