like on my gallery , i made a folder for my movies , but the movies that are listed in that folder are not named,just plain black thumbnails , so it's kinda hard to recognize which movie is which .. i prefer to go to the gallery app for watching movies and videos coz the UI animation is so cool..LOL.. rather than going to the video gallery app ..

Long press on the top of the folder when its activated and it will allow you to name the folder.
 
Thank you so much, ever since i got the phone i have wondered how to do that. Other things here that people have posted i figured out myself. But this i was a lost. Thanks again!
 
:confused: Does anyone know how to move pictures, movies, downloaded files. To a folder that you made? I cant seem to figure it out. The Gallery does not give you that many options. It would be great is someone could help me with it! ;)

These files are actually in different folders on your phone (i.e. phone pictures videos are in DCIM folder, Avatar in Movie folder, downloaded files in the Download folder, etc.) and the Gallery just combine them so you can view them all in one place. You can go to Apps menu, open File, and long press on the ones that you want to move and select Move, but you have to do it one-by-one so it is a very slow process if you have a lot of files that you want to move. For a quicker way, connect your phone to the computer and move them around in batches.

Just make a long press on the one that you would like to change and then follow the instructions. There are a total of 3 rows that you can customize. Just take your finger and slide that small row left or right, you should see some + signs that you can make a long press on and edit from there. You need to download GOlauncher...and use that instead of the standard launcher.
 
go the the market place and search "no lock" and look for the orange unlocked lock and download that one. I just did it and I no longer have a lock screen to deal with.
 
swype question:
swype learns all the words you type (and alll the words you misspell).
is there away to delete the words that are added to swypes memory?
