I cant find the prl......what do I do?
I can connect to Wifi so I hope that is a plus. Please help me
Fuzzy, I tried your method, printed it out..got my highlighter...and I was going good until I got to that pesky message that reads "This tool is only for vs910..." I am gonna take a guess that this method is only for the Esteem? I have an LG Optimus Elite...are there any files I can substitute for this to work? Right now I have the LGHidden Menu and no barsI can connect to Wifi so I hope that is a plus. Please help me

Hi, first I'd like to say thank you very much Fuzzy and Gbiggie for creating this guide and continuing to support this thread! I've followed the steps and have successfully removed Test mode with Test Mode Repair tool. I have the MDN and MIN for my phone.
I have successfully installed LGNPST and am using Store Level PST (LGNPST v1.2) supplied from this thread. I am stuck on System NAM 1 and have double-click to change MDN, MIN, MIN2, and Home SID and have successfully Write to 100% however on phone Settings > About Phone > Status, it shows UNKNOWN for the following: My phone number (MDN), MIN, PRL, and Mobile network type. It seems to write but nothing holds. I have also attempted to re-program using ##626* with MDN and MIN to no success.
Here's a screenshot of stock System NAM 1 upon entering (I've highlighted things different from your supplied image):

Here's my write to settings (highlight shows things I've manually entered):

My question is, am I supposed to change settings like MCC, MNC, ACCOLC, and so on to match yours? I was wondering about the proper MCC and MNC since I found links like:
- MCC-310, MNC-016, from 04/14/12: http://androidforums.com/4226637-post173.html
- Click on Android Manual Settings, MCC-310, MNC-16 from 2011(?): Mobile Carrier Settings for MetroPCS United States
Things I've noticed but weren't mentioned in this guide, the phone restarts during Nv Write, at approx. 4% everytime the phone restarts then jumps to 100% after phone starts up. Same as after Write PRL START, phone restarts and continue to progress to 100% while phone is still starting up. Also, if its of any help the phone is not currently connected to service, I've setup a temporary phone during this fix.
Well, I have not attempted any further settings because the phone isn't mine and I don't want to end up incredibly messing things up. Please advise if I have missed any steps. I notice there was another thread that said NV Write did not hold, was there any PMs exchanged for a resolution? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Mack

SMH please help, Im having the same problem as w1ck3d1. It always says its encountered a problem with the lg test mode repair file. i even used a different extractor like you said, and still no change. i even uninstalled my antivirus, and my firewall has been shut off. i use 32 bit xp. please help me get my esteem out of test mode.
First of all, Fuzzy you are indeed the man. Im out of test mode Thank you...But Ive ran everything step by step and my prl is unknown...WTH?
The only possible issue I can think of was a possible hiccup while copying the dll skin to the LGNPST program...
