Help Video out options?

Picked up my Atrix ~3 weeks ago, really like it quite a bit, however, I'm thinking I might return it, fire the Captivate back up and hold out for the new SGS II (I'll first need to overcome the psychological damage done to me by Samsung in the next 7 days or so :D )

Anyway...

One of the nice things I've used on the Atrix is the MicroHDMI out (using just the supplied cable), letting me connect to [most] TVs. Just this past weekend down Universal Studios, we used it to review pics and movies we shot, plus I had a nice HD copes of some Pixar movies to entertain the small person.

I recall the SGS/Captivate was supposed to have some kind of proprietary MicroUSB-to-Video, but they were never in stock and I kind of just abandoned the idea.

Any wired options for this being discussed for the SGS II? I realize there's DLNA, which works great out our totally wired up house, but this is for use outside the house where we can pretty much only count on an HDMI port.

It uses MHL connectivity, will be the first device to do so. Search this forum and you'll see plenty of information about it.

Does anyone know yet if the HDMI will mirror the display as in the LG Optimus 2X? Or just be used for Video playback.

Thats an unknown at the moment, and a biggy for me (I really want game emulation/browsing available to me that way). From memory in the MHL video doing the rounds the guy says it will display whatever is on the phone screen, and he goes on to talk about using it in concert with BT keyboard/mice, so it sounds like it should do mirroring.

EDIT: Man, I really hope it has mirroring - was just playing Mario 64 on my SGS1 on my 42inch tele with a BT keyboard - I need this in my next handset too!

I know how you feel.... Need for Speed on the SGS plays well but hook it up to a TV and have cockpit mode on and you suddenly notice the screen angles as you turn into corners.
