"Reboot into the system and do updates in settings" when i do this, it just takes me into TWRP. is this the problem??
Does it do this when Updating PRL, Profile and Firmware? Or does it go into TWRP just when updating Firmware? I have had the firmware update boot into TWRP. I just click on reboot and the phone should reboot but the update will fail and quit nagging you. Then if you flash the No-Props zip that should install the update. I was having problems to and Jerry helped me big time. For me the key was
not fixing root when asked by TWRP and then flashing Kouches Superuer.
I know little compared to Jerry, Chiral and rbheromax, just trying to help using my own errors. Here is the link to
Koush's Superuser that you should flash after you restore G60's back up.
This is the order I did things:
1 Boot into TWRP and clear Delvik
2 Restore G60's Back Up
3 Restart Phone and do not fix root when prompted by TWRP.
4 I did not do the updates in system settings but Jerry recommends this so do it.
5 Boot into TWRP and flash Koush's Superuser.
6 Boot to system and the phone should be rooted again.
7 Boot into TWRP and flash no-props.zip.
8 Wipe Delvik again and boot to system.
9 If using Link2SD, now you can recreate mount scripts and this will get your apps back.
I was seeing many similar problems between what you are experiencing and what I had going on. I followed this order with Jerry's help and my phone is running great. I also was having a problem that once the phones scripts were recreated, I had multiple superusers so I installed root uninstaller and removed the superuser I didn't need. that also helped.
