Root [Virgin Mobile] So long...Virgin Mobile

I am not sure where to place so I thought I would post here. If it needs to be moved by all means please move it.

Anyways as the title states I am leaving Virgin Mobile. Due to continued issues with no coverage for my Wifes phone at work it's just not feasible to stay with Virgin Mobile any more. So in a short note I wanted to say goodbye, and give thanks for all the supporters of my ROM's and my work. I am sure Team Vmobi will continue on with or without me. It's been a fun ride since the Triumph and I will miss the people that made this community fun.

Till we meet again :D

Crap hate to see you go. I ran your rom on my Evo V and it was the best in my opinion. Was looking forward to one for the Victory.

Anyway, Good luck with your next carrier.

Chairshot does have the Victory now. I am not sure what his plans are but if he is going to dev for the phone I will send him the Sprint Phone I was sent as a donation for development.

Wow, say it isn't so! I understand your wife can't wait, thanks for everything you've done!

BTW- I've been getting occasional 4GLTE here in vegas the past few weeks, which shows the build out is progressing. Top three in this screencap are on 4GLTE:

Whoa. SAY IT ISN'T SO :(

But that's okay, G60. I know what you mean. I just bought a house, and well...I have NO service here at home with VM...

So come tomorrow, I'm jumping ship to T-Mobile. (Maybe I'll see you around there?)

You never specified which carrier you're going to, so we can still harass say hi to you!

Prinny,

Updated my profile earlier today. Sadly yes Verizon is more $$ But I will be enjoying LTE all over the state. There is no LTE with Sprint, or T-mobile or AT&T yet, and that is even in Albuquerque which is or big city in NM. Plus with the S4 I won't need to develop anymore as it's a supported device by CM. Will give me free time to now start working apps which is my next endeavor in the Android Space. Will see what becomes of it :D

Abq's sprint service is quite spotty. The main reason I stay with virgin is the prices. I would switch to Verizon if I could afford it :D

Yeah it's by no means cheap LOL. But with the Wife's 15% discount from her job and my $60.00 a month reimbursement from my job for cell services it works out to about $67.50 for 4GB of shared LTE and unlimited text and phone calls for the two of us. At worse we may need to bump up to the 6GB of shared bandwidth for an extra $10.00 so it's not too bad considering that we will have service everywhere in the state, well almost everywhere. Just suprised Verizon doesn't offer unlimited bandwidth and after 2GB they throttle you like all the other carriers.

I suppose if a bunch of friends got together to split the bill it wouldn't be bad at all for a solid carrier, solid phone, and solid speed. Maybe Verizon is trying to the make the world a better place in terms of the 10 devices per 1 shared plan as to force people to come together to share :)

From what I recently heard he wants to finish up stuff on the EVO before he even begins with anything on the Victory.

But anyways, Im sad to see you go, you are a great dev, and I hope you have better luck with Verizon.

Thank you all for the birthday wish. I will be sticking around the Victory forums for a while as I have the Sprint version. Since I am not working on the S4, cause really how can I fade Cyanogen himself? So I am going to work on Jelly Bean for Sprint. Hopefully if I can solve the radios those hacks can be applied to the VM version! I will keep stuff posted over here for now
