Root [Virgin Mobile] [VMOBI][DEV] Closed [07.08.2013]

Nvm I found and installed it. Music and SD finally working. It's no longer crashing when you tap on the storage/mount thing. Camera comes on but crashes. Video works. Really, tbh if I could call and use 4G I'd use this as my primary Android OS. It's smooth and has like, a billion more features.
 
For me camera app does not crash at all. It just doea not show any thing from the camera. Everything is very smooth and fluid. Love it. Can't wait for the final. :D
 
Ran the Alpha Rom you started on my Victory. Seemed great besides the obvious issues you mentioned . Looking forward to the development of the new Rom!!

Hey, when I go to the about section the version is 4.1.2. Is that correct or am I testing the wrong one? Thought it was supposed to be 4.2
 
Just got this phone today, rooted it with the guides here in no time, big thanks to everyone leading the way in development! One of the easiest root solutions I've used.

Back when I was working on IHO for the Optimus V, we had to make some changes to the CdmaSMSDispatcher.java in order to get MMS to work. The same changes were incorporated into some ICS builds. Might help, but with 4G who knows how things change.

Nothing yet I have been really busy and haven't had any time to look at it. I still don't have it building yet, I did patch the kernel to 3.0.71 but still hacking on the device files. Xinterloperx wants to try the kernel but he to is very busy.

Here is the kernel Jupiter its just stock kernel patched, you can look through the commits to see what changed, it may or may not work with the stock ROM but you never know.

I have stock with a custom boot animation... i couldn't stand that stupid boot noise so now I have the boot animation on the galaxy s3 on my virgin mobile victory...
