Root want to make backup before rooting

??? I used Gingerbreak (without a computer) and it did a "ClockworkMod" recovery.img. Does that mean I need to use a Gingerbread ROM? I was going to try Harmonia. What is your preference?
LeslieAnn has updated her ROM, as mkbkr1 has mentioned, and now you should be able to install Harmonia with a CWM recovery.

I will have to edit that post to reflect her update.

You can restore a backup quicker than you can change a baby's diaper.

not so -- I installed Harmonia ok, used Ti to restore apps, and it did each of them one. at. a. time. I had to accept permissions and then either "launch" or "done" for each of them.

Perhaps I chose the wrong option to restore?

anyway, I think I screwed myself by restoring system data with that, and now I can't install/uninstall some things. so pretty soon I'm going to redo the whole thing. Again. I'll do 1.5 this time, I reckon.

I was refering to the nandroid(a backup of your system) backup that you should have made in your custom recovery in the backup and restore section

oh, I get it, so you were referring to going back to the way it was before I did this ROM upgrade -- a system-level restore, not with Ti. Gotcha.
