weird issue with mms cm6

for some reason a lot of mms message i get come with a download button. wouldn't be a big deal if the messages would actually download.

is sprint having trouble today or is it cm6?

this is using the stock messaging app in cm6 stable.

Brandito, are you using Handcent by any chance? I had that issue as well, using handcent, but remembered a fix a while back. In the message receive settings in handcent, it wasn't set to automatically download mms. Once I checked this, it worked fine.

Edit, nevermind...I read you are using stock...my bad.

i tried the fix posted above, no chance to test it yet, but i have another question, is there a reason rom manager doesn't list cyanogenmod in the downloads anymore? apparently at one time it did but doesn't seem to anymore.

edit: still unable to download mms messages with the fix. even tried flashing the latest nightly build 9/22 and no good.
