Just download Tango or Fring. It is possible to do it, although not in the proper way

Tried both tango and fring they don't work so i guess ny is rite. Cuz they wont even load on da phone they found another way to make me get another phone s$%#

The camera on the Ascend is the biggest drawback to the phone IMO. Also, the inferior sound. I don't even care at this point (for me) if they get the 2.2. I'm going to get the IDEOS as soon as it comes out.

I dropped by the Optimus M forum last night to see how the camera is on there, because since my Ascend was free, I could easily upgrade, sell my Ascend and only pay a different of like 40 to 50 bux on the Optimus if I wanted to

Cricket announced it was going to get the new Optimus sometime this first quarter I think. I hear it's really nice !

The phone is still a nice phone man, a few more features would of been nice along with a better camera, and a flash, and the phone would of been MINT.

Even with some of the inferior features of the Ascend, I still love it! For the $100 bucks I paid for it I consider it well worth the money.

It's going to hold it's value too. They are still selling used on ebay for around $150.

I think Huawei makes a great product!

I saw once sell for just around $180, that is CRAZY considering you won't get the rebate from ebay if the phone isn't BRAND NEW, yet people still bid like crazy on them.

The phone is just what the manufacturer meant for it to be: An affordable starter Android.

When I bought mine from Metro, I told them I did not want to turn it on until the following weekend, and they let me buy it and leave. They told me, well you will have to come back HERE to activate it, meanwhile when I was ready, I simply dialed *228, and easily activated it. They just want to make that extra $10 on the so called activation fee... meanwhile, if you buy a phone online from their site, there is no such charge.

You know the more I read about Huawei the more impressed I am.They are a really big company specializing in modems and such. They're just now getting into the handset biz in a big way.

Huawei is going to be a force to be dealt with since they're going to force the better known brands to lower their cost.

If only they added a flash to the camera and a better camera, they would of had a PERFECT product.
