Just finished a cantacle for lieberwitz (sp) audiobook, a fascinating book with so much subtext and hidden meanings. While I disagree whit a lot of the religious arguments I still found it an engrossing read (or should that be listen lol)

Moll Flanders, Daniel Defoe.

Not that great to be honest. A bit fast moving and you never really get to know any of the characters. In fact you don't get to know any of their names or indeed the real name of the title character.

Easy to read though. I don't envy the Ulysses reader above. I could barely understand a sentence of that book when I tried. I gave up after about 6 pages. One day when I'm more well read I might give it another go with hopefully a bigger vocabulary and honed reading skills.

^ Never heard of it.. whats it about?

Still struggling with 'Lord of the Isles'. I'm on book 4 and its getting better though my opinion (for now) is i won't be re-reading it anytime soon. Though I WILL finish it.

It's a crime thriller, I guess. I enjoyed it, although I've never got round to reading any more of the series.

Lol, i couldnt just stop reading a series, wish i could. My OCD kicks in and i plow my way through:D (though i have stopped reading a stand alone book before)

(btw, how does everyone like my top hat:D:D)

It works as a standalone book though really, so I was satisfied enough to leave it :)

Word!! :D

Thats how the Denai series was though they were plenty good enough to read them all. Keep meaning to check out the rest of Gemmels books

What he said. I literally just bought it this morning since a friend referred me to it. I only like reading suspense/thriller/crime books so it was rather fitting. So far so good though. I like how the main character isn't your typical hero-type though. In fact, he's more like the opposite.

You familiar with 'Heat' from J Patterson? Might be right up your alley
