What are your MOST used WIDGETS?

androidtp

Android Enthusiast
Android is known for it's famous widgets. My most used widgets are from Mippin with their over the top information on things that interest me such as sports, technology, video games, etc.

How about you?

*Please explain the use of the widget*

pix of your widgets or screens are great as well :)

The only widgets I use are HTC's own.
Clock (flip mode)
Calendar (agenda mode)
Bookmarks
Profile
Then the small toggle widgets for Bluetooth, GPS and Mobile Network.

I've toyed with other widgets but they seem to suck a lot of battery. It would be very interesting to see what other people use.

Weather from HTC, BBC News, Memory Status, Music (from Android), Stocks, Facebook, Time (Time magazine app) and word of the day by dictionary.com. Also, calendar, bookmarks, post it notes, and gps/wifi/bluetooth toggle.

Weatherbug elite maps... I work outside, so the weather is important to me especially in the summer when thunderstorms roll through.

SwitchPro Widget. It is just like the power control widget, but it does a whole lot more, and is highly customizable

Beautiful Widgets. I don't run sense, and wanted a similar clock widget so I bought this.

Jorte calendar widget. Just a nice looking calendar...

And I'm not opposed to using others from time to time, but these are my most used ones at the moment....

I use the HTC Weather Clock, HTC Calendar, Sports Tap, Sprint NFL, HTC Picture Album, HTC Messaging, Pandora, HTC Music, Tip Calculator, HTC Notes, HTC Profile, Mobile on/off, GPS toggle, Wi-Fi on/off, and the Free Beer Battery widget. :)

Calender Widget - Stock 2.2
Google Search
Weather Bug Widget
MixZing Widget

It can control from 3 to 7 functions (of your choosing), you can change the color, there is a reboot to recovery right from the home screen button on the widget. It is pretty cool...

I thought Switchpro only had a regular reboot button on the widget? I downloaded the Quick Boot app to stick Reboot and Reboot to Recovery buttons on the home screen

Gives you a choice to reboot recovery or regular reboot...

i think you would like fancy widget over beautiful widgets...it looks just like htc..but you have to choose your own weather app

I think the reboot feature is for rooted only

I believe Quick Settings also does the same thing, and Juice Defender is another one, something else for you to check out, and one more thing, I would suggest if you do try these widgets out and decide to uninstall them make sure you put your settings back to where they were

Oh wow, you're right. Never knew that (AND the choice to go to bootloader!), kind of just thought it was just a regular reboot button. Looks like I can get uninstall Quick Boot and get rid of those two buttons from the home screen then.
