Found out which app it was, it's LED Light... This issue only seems to happen when I boot my phone though. Once I kill it the first time, I can have the widget loaded and my camera works.

Agreed, total PITA! That's a s.l.o.w. step to boot.

i do notice my 3d games - real soccer, lets golf, modern combat sandstorm, and hawx all run TEN TIMES BETTER!!!!! feel as good as they did on my ipod/iphone but with a bigger screen!!

2.1 seemed to be a little more userfriendly to me
2.2 is still nice though, but seems like they changed things that didn't really need to be changed

I watched two straight hours of online video and only sucked down 30% of my available juice.
LOL, yeah I have been bad since June 4. Why my wife and I each have 2 spare batteries.
But BTW, fixed my battery issue. Just have auto sync turned off and just like 2.1 now. Must have an app broken by 2.2 doing nothing but syncing.
How does the automatic updating work in the market?
I was told that there is an option that you can select "update all" when there is an update available in your apps.
Well, one of my apps is ready for an update and I cannot find anywhere this feature to "update all".
Also, the apps that needs updating I click on "Allow automatic updating" and it hasnt updated itself.
When is it supposed to do it?
Is there a specific time?
I thought that was automatically.

it worked for me. it updated last night by itself. it was slacker radio..it update all is under downloads
Nope. Cannot find it. Downloads look exactly as before with 2.1. The only difference is that for the update is says "update". I think with 2.1 it said "update now". I may be wrong.
But there is no "update all" button.
So, that's that. That's what I don't understand about this. If I download the exact same file as everyone else, how the heck am I missing this feature?

Agreed. Fortunately, you can turn that view off. Would be nice if maybe the FB updates were in a different color, or, contacts alternated background colors - white/gray/white/gray, etc.

I don't know. Holding down the event and waiting for the pop up to click EDIT isn't that much slower.. heh. In fact, I'd argue it's quicker than clicking the event, waiting for it to open, then clicking menu then edit.

Update all shows up when you have 3 or more updates.
I can't figure out automatic updating either. I've had updates for over 24 hours now and they won't automatically install. Oh Well.
It is slower once the event is open. Once open you use to be able to edit it, now you can't. You have to close it out and go back to it and edit it..
Agreed that is annoying

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but wow, it boots up a LOT quicker! The only downside to 2.2 for me so far, and it's a big'un, is that something is chewing up my battery pretty fiercely without me even using the phone. Pulled the battery, set Talk to not login, and tweaked a couple of sync settings, so we'll see if it helps.

Indeed, annoying. No point with it not being an option to edit right there.
One thing that changed that i dont care for is the LED on when recording video in the dark. Even though the LED turns on now when recording video in dim location, it still not at the brightest. I disable the flash on video and just run LED Desire light widget to turn the LED to the brightest setting and then open video recording. Much better and brighter video quality! The only drawback is I have to turn the LED off when I'm done but no biggie.
A highly overrated and worthless benchmark once used to shake out older, larger systems.
Free from the Market by that name - you're going to get in the high 30s, and it'll vary - it was never intended to benchmark anything in a multiprocess environment.
I had that in 2.1 - could be broken by 2.2 or just one of those pathological things that we file under stuff happens.
Try turning auto-sync back on later - and also, in the menu below that, go into each thing you have/want and ensure that things are as you want.
I just noticed that you can no longer turn off Stocks from its four hour sync cycle.
<grrrrr> Where'd I leave that 40-watt range phased plasma rifle?

OK, so the Notification LED doesn't stop flashing after 5 mins like it used to before. Like that better?!
It's transient.
If you have no apps registering an update available, you won't see the option.
I had the same reaction as you - but - some hours later, I went back, had about 8 or 9 things marked at update available - option was there, works great.
Just give it time - it'll work.

Updated my EVO, but not my wife's. I decided to do a completely fresh start and cleaned out my machine prior to upgrading.
There are two apps that I cannot seem to transfer from my wife's EVO with Bump, and they are not available to me on the Market:

I went through 8 hours of medium use today and have 50% battery left. I hard reset after the upgrade and made sure to set Google Talk to not auto login and in the setting menu change the one for data always on. Forgot the path for it off the top of my head but it definitely helps as it says on the setting it uses more battery power......

I noticed that too ... wonder what the logic is behind that? Really, a check every four hours isn't a big deal, but I want to be able to say whether or not it does it.
