What DID you do for the Super Bowl?

Hey guys,

so the Super Bowl is coming up. and we all know that this is the first holiday of the new year where people cook the most other the thanksgiving or xmas.

so i'm curious what y'all are doing for the greatest holiday ever!!!!:D

here is my tentative menu(subject to change later):

chips and mango salsa
italian sausage chili
tomato and cucumber quinoa salad
garlic bread
cherry cola ribs
creme brulee

so what are you guys doing?
 
Watching the Capitals Vs Penguins game....then maybe watching the superbowl...


I could go for watching the Pats choke again.


I usually just get a ton of wings from buffalo wild wings and a bunch of pizza lol

^ Always jealous of you folks on the West Coast and getting to catch the SB (among all football games) so much earlier in the day. :)
 
I'm going to sit around and eat a Bowl of Soup.

See what I did there. :D

The Stillers were crappy this season, so I'm not really interested. I will take up the offer of haz'n beers with Ocn tho. ;) Sounds like a good time!! :)
 
I'll smoke some flamin hot ribs and make a couple of dips... bean and cheese based.
The wife will likely do her shrimp boil and veggie platter. I'm not expecting a big crowd this year so nothing over the top. Just a lot of lazin, snacking, and perhaps a brewski or so.

well instead of :bawling: and drinking your own tears, you can come down to my house and drink some beers with me :beer::D

and if she aint coming that is her loss:D:D

ocnbrze, I'm not doing nothing for the SB, maybe I'll stop by! :) I did live in LA area for 10 years. I stayed mostly in the Valley and Long Beach.

I'm probably going to be moving there in a few months, so I'll take you up on that next year... As long as whiskey is ok, beer is just flavored water to me.

flavored water.....please. we probably have cheap whiskey lying around someplace. can guarantee it is going to be great.

I'll probably be on here. I haven't had a drink since 97 and don't have plans on stopping that streak :D

Last SB I watched was with the saints. I had to see them win at least one. Our "Super Bowl" here is the Georgia/Florida Game.

How do you think I feel.....it won't start over here until around about 9pm, if we are lucky..... think it finished about 3am last year! Lol
