What do you do for a living?

Horse Trainer and breeder

Colorado State University

I use my phone to track feeding insturction, training plans, and mares pregnancy

I experiment with drugs.

By that, I mean I monitor clinical trials for new drugs under development. I use my phone to keep track of my calendar and e-mails (on the road 80% of the time). Epocrates is a very useful app for me.

IT Jack of all trades at a clinical research organization.

I've had my Eris for about 3 weeks, and love it so far. I came from an LG Dare, and I love not having to use *shudder* Mobile Web for anything net-related. With my Eris I get weather, Facebook, Pandora, maps, and plenty of other good stuff.

Would be really funny if you are the person I was talking to most of the day. I work for a CRO and had an IT problem that was very hard to solve.

Ha, probably not me, unfortunately. For the most part, I feel like the Maytag repair man today. Not many calls, and definitely nothing I had to really think about. I'm able to work on things that get pushed to the back-burner...or "research" new Android features/devices. :)

Guess not then. I was on the IM with our IT guy for almost 4 hours on and off. I work from home. The final result seems to be that my ISP is blocking a certain system and I have to go through terminal services to get around it.

Ethernet Network Engineer primarily focusing on Switching and Routing infrastructure as well as WiFi...

The Eris is for personal use only as I am saddled with a Blackberry Bold as my work phone!

My dad's a physician and uses a BB Tour and I showed him the Skyscape app the other day and the desk reference. Apparently he knows everything because he hasn't commented about using it since I showed it to him.

I always have fun with it though. Like looking for drugs that need to be taken rectally. Huh huh...rectal dosage.

I'm a marketing director for a national restoration franchise.

I love my Eris...partly because it replaced a Mogul, and partly because it's so bad ass.

I'm a manager at an Air Traffic Control Center, awesome phone will wait a little longer for the OTA. Mostly satisfied as is.

Garbage Collector.....

Web access on my Eris helps me get photos from jail when I need to prove that some of the garbage lies about their name....

Portfolio Manager of an Asset Management Group within in Bank. Use my Eris for corporate email and everything else fun. My bank still sees android and Iphone as security risks and so they won't do exchange server. I just have to go the long way to access my email but it is worth it. Blackberries are too boring.

Mechanical Engineering Student/ F-16 Crew chief

Mainly just use the phone for listening to music in class, checking email, and browsing the net in class.

I am a college student(psychology)

Absolutely not a California thing...unfortunately, happens in Maine too! LOL! I feel your pain. I usually use mine to call the dispatcher and ask why I'm being sent to a complaint of someone blowing snow onto someone else's property...

happens in memphis way too often:cool: not the snow . but the out of control kids.

I work in Food Service as a supervisor at The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village in Michigan. Also a full-time student.

The Eris is my first smartphone and I'm very happy with it. I don't plan on changing for the two years unless the phone breaks.

CSI

No, not a crime scene investigator. Construction Specifications Institute.
Not as exciting as it looks on TV.

(Android noob; recovering crackberry addict)

College student and I love the eris. Personally I love the HTC calendar (agenda style), helps keep me up to my work.

And root is awesome, wireless tether and all that good stuff.

I work as a FiOS Technical support mentor, I'm the one you talk to when the agent sucks.

My Eris gets used quite heavily for Pandora, texting and Corporate E-Mail.

P.S. Yes I know the FiOS Droid apps don't work very well. Painfully aware. lol.
