I just dropped WL due to all the 2.2 bugs it creates. Froyo's lock screen doesn't lag, but it's a pain to slide AND use a pin/code/pattern to get to the phone. I also disabled the "animations" option on the phone, but I haven't tested it to see if that's the reason since it helped on 2.1.

What 2.2 bugs? I have been on 2.2 since the first leak and I have had no problems at all with WL.

The battery widget is 'BatteryLeft', the calendar is 'Forte Calendar'. Once you've downloaded it you open widgets and there will be a whole slew of em. I'm using the 1 x 4 version. And lastly I got those dock icons here, I think there are at or around the beginning of this thread. Just save them into your pictures. On the phone, then long press on the dock icon and select 'custok icon', it will take you into your pictures and you select them from there.

If you can't find them let me know and I will see if I can send the file to you.

tfln = texts from last night. Funny webpage with ridiculous texts that people send. Tends to be on the more disturbing side...

free app on the market...helps me pass the time in lecture
 
Where do they find these texts? Do people submit them or are they somehow intercepting them off of some sort of feed?

it's a build.prob mod where i set the LCD Density to 200 instead of the default 240. you can use the LCD Density Changer app to do this. this mod made the icons and text smaller.

to get more icons on the screen i use Launcher Pro which lets you adjust the number of columns and rows on your screen.

the widgets are from the Extended Controls app.
the top status bar and transparent notification slide out is SenseX 2.2 - i only used the modded services.jar and framework-res.apk.
the launcher pro dock and icons are Sense-esque.

I listed some here, but here's a list I can think of off the top of my head:
1. Can't resize pics for BG with stock gallery
2. Using the optional 3D Gallery wouldn't let me change my BG at all (and he sent me the link to the one that should work several times)
3. Slide to unlock for incoming calls option prevented the "Answer" and "Ignore" buttons from appearing which resulted in missed calls because I had no way to answer.
4. Ending calls took me to the lock screen rather than my home screen when that's where I was when the call came in
5. When on a call, and another one comes in, I don't get the option to answer the second call any more - again, more missed calls.

Some of these happened with Froyo, and some after his last update. I love the app, but it just got too buggy to continue for now. Hoping these get fixed soon.

I haven't had any problems with answering calls, ending calls or any problems with the gallery and I use the 3d gallery that syncs with picasa.

There are apps that show it in the notification bar. But if you want it on the home screen, I'm afraid what you're asking it to do is the very definition of a widget.

Thanks got them all. Just a note to find that calendar in the market you have to use 'Jorte Calendar'. Thanks for the help!

Thanks. Im not familiar with modding and installing things and such, but maybe I will try this.

I recognize the NexTheme (which is my fave theme of all so far) but I'm stuck using the default font comes with the theme. Don't get me wrong, I like it too, but am ready to try another. Can someone slap me across the head with a link to your particular font there?

It may just be my very tired eyes going on 56 plus hours of no sleep too, and if so, just agree with me and I'll be asleep before too much longer I can assure you :-) (Just re-read that previous sentence....yeah if that's not delirium setting in, not sure what you'd call it :-D )

I had the same problem with 3some gallery so I got rid of it. I haven't had a chance to see if it happens with the stock gallery. I also had the same problems with Google maps when I get a call the phone freezes and I have to reboot.
 
Does anyone know of an app that can open up a folder of my favorite contacts and let me use the quick tasks? I want to use it a a swipe gesture on LP.
