What features do you want on the Evo 2?

I don't know if it's a lot, but it's definitely a problem for some. Having seen avatar in regular 3d and standard imax, I was quite content with standard imax and just as absorbed into that world with the giant concave screen.

I saw it in Imax 3D. It was awesome.

My only beefs with 3D are the glasses and the viewing angles. Other than that, I love it.

I look at it like a newer HD or something. We went from 720p to 1080i to 1080p and now 3D.

Here's the case for the EVO 3D that'll have a kickstand

I really hope they market it the right way. If they do like they did with the most recent Evo commercial, with all of the positive things people say about it, and then say "oh yeah, it's also capable of recording in 3D", then they'll do well. Not everybody wants 3D, myself included.

OK - gyroscope - I hear the gyroscope is a big deal for iPhone gaming.

Do we want that on the Evo 2?

(hint - we're moving on - to the features we want on future Evos... ;))

^^^? Isn;t that the same as the "g sensor"?

I don't think so - but I'm not 100% clear on it. I thought the g sensor was one of the accelerometers.

What is G-Sensor? [Archive] - xda-developers

From HTC's Hero support page (colors courtesy of my cache search, sorry):

A G-Sensor is an accelerometer and measures the forces that act on it and allows for auto screen rotation and other device enhancements. To access G-Sensor settings, from the Home screen tap Menu > Settings > Sound & display > G-Sensor calibration.

So - I think the gyro is more, does more - that's what I've heard, but not being a gamer, not entirely sure...

Someone brought up a good point. If you don't have a 3D laptop, 3D tv, or friends with a 3D phone, who can view the videos and pictures in 3D besides yourself?

Back when most people still had black and white TVs, footage was being filmed in color. Most people couldn't see it at the time, but aren't you glad those movies/shows/news reels were filmed in color so you could benefit from that today?

Think about your family photos. Chances are either your baby pics, or your parents baby pics (or at the very least, your grand parent's), are in black and white. Sure would be nice if they were in color, and perhaps 16MP digital too. Couldn't have viewed them like that at the time without going to great expense, but at least you'd have them now.

Content always comes first. Be the one to create the content that the future will enjoy, even if you don't think they will. They will.

I'd like to see the Evo 2 eliminate the kickstand. I feel like an a-hole with that thing on the back of my phone. Please HTC, snap it off!

No. Most of that old cinema was crap by today's standards. ;)
I get where you are coming from, but I don't find myself watching hardly ANYTHING from the era that black and white tvs were the norm.
