what is launcher pro

Is it an app that can be turned on and off. Or does it take away the stock interface by motoroloa. What is launcher pro.

Launcher pro replaces the dock at the bottom of your phone and the way your different homescreens look/feel. It let's you customize the style of the dock background and its icons. It let's you resize widgets to a size of your liking. It provides you with great alternatives to Blur widgets (calendar, facebook, contacts, etc.). It let's you change the grid size of your homescreens, which allows you to place widgets closer together.

It hides blur from view, without actually removing it. Therefore you get a taste of what vanilla Android may be like, without the bennefit of having a speedier, less jittery device.

It's a compromise.

It's basically a homescreen replacement. It sits on top of blur. It does not remove it.

Go launcher is nice....but until it lets me change my dock background and icons in the dock, it will never replace LPP for me. plus i have been running LPP for about 6 months and has NEVER given me a problem or any reason to switch.
