What is the latest Guestimated Release Date

I throw a little gas on the fire. Is there any logic in thinking that when Thunderbolt's 14-day return window from launch day sunsets, that perhaps info on Bionic will start to appear? That day would be this Thursday, correct? It's weird that nobody is writing about it in the trades.
 
+1. No videos showing performance, etc. The TB had videos and info for months before its release. I'm thinking Verizon has them keeping it really quiet for now to boost TB sales.

Fair perpsective. Perhaps a three week gap keeps the flow a lot cleaner.
 
I got tired of waiting and picked up a Bolt on a 1yr contract.

we'll see where dual core tech is 10-12 months from now.

Oh, and the battery issue is WAY overblown. I have a spare battery that I've yet to use. With normal to heavy use I have no problems going 16hrs w/o a charge.
 
It's amusing reading replies from people woefully lamenting that they don't have a front facing camera. Life just isn't fair, is it? How could God be so cruel? What could possibly be worse than having some of the world's most advanced cell-phone technology sans a front-facing camera? Abject poverty? Living in a masogonistic society and being subjected to systematic rape? Cancerous cells ravaging your insides? Nah,those things are minor troubles compared to the inhumane condition of owning a technologically advanced device that doesn't have a front-facing camera. I feel sorry for you all and I will pray for you in your time of extreme hardship.
 
I dont buy the Galaxy 2 coming to Verizon. Everything ive read has pointed to a GSM version. Tired of Samsung anyway unless its the Tegra 2 version and launches with Gingerbread.
 
Yeah, Phandroid posted the leaked roadmap around 7 PST this morning. I posted it with the link in another thread on this forum to get opinions about what people thought of it.
 
And who wants to bet the same GPS chip or at least manufacturing process will be used for the GS2? Screw that.

I could care less about the FFC as I don't know too many people with the technology, and even if I did, I don't see myself using it often. Still, I don't know how a FFC makes a phone any less safe from that perspective as any other phone on the market. Unless it's the 1800s and people are worried about their souls being trapped in there.

I'm more than willing to get an education on this matter, however.
 
Its funny how these dang phones are like crack. Everyone is hooked and waiting for the next big "rush"! I blame the electronics shows that show us these killer devices and then leave you hang for months afterwards. Though is that better than not knowing what is coming at all? I don't know. But one thing is for sure... I WANT MY BIONIC!!!!!!!! (time for therapy)
 
YankeeDudeL - You mean you couldn't care less? FFCs are fairly gimmicky at the moment but you could have said the same thing about rear cameras 6 or 7 years ago. There will almost certainly be apps beyond video chatting that may be useful for FFC in the future. Likely before most are ready to upgrade.

Yes, that's technically what I mean, but I probably could actually care less if we want to be specific and accurate as I have a curiosity about them. Grammar police be damned! lol

If I knew more people with them then I suppose I'd have a more general interest (see what I did there?). And once apps are designed that will utilize this feature, and perhaps add a camera that's at least half as decent as it rear facing counterpart, then sure, my interest will be piqued. But until this utilization and integration occurs it will not a determining factor when I next purchase a phone.

Man, I hate having to think before I type.
