What is your build number?

I've seen talk about different builds for our phones. What I would like to do is compile the dates and see if we can get a better understanding if there is a different set of Triumphs out there.

Mine is 5/11, 1010_2_038. I got mine the day before they came out. Well, officially.:D
I think if we can get this info, and then maybe compile the version of the preinstalled software. I think we can possibly find some other drivers to choose from. I haven't been on stock for a long time and I didn't make a nandroid backup of it. But my wife won't let me play with her phone, but I'll get her version later.

To find the "build date": pull the battery and look for a number that looks like a date. 5/11 or whatever.
To find the software version number: Settings--> About phone--> software version.
I'm looking for the factory number, if it's ROMed in any way, it won't count.

Thank you for your time and response. :)

Mine is 06/11 im on my 2nd Triumph i had originally bought mine the same day it came out but the charging port on that one (broke after like 15 days) i believe the build date for that one was 05/11

My 1st one the 05/11 was a 1010_2_038 phone

My 2nd one the 06/11 is a 1010_2_039 phone

I've 8/11, and like many other people, I don't have original nandroid :P. I bought mine in February of 2012. Haven't had the major problems, only minor such as soft key not responding for a couple seconds.

So far
5) 5-11, they all seem to have software ...038
2) 6-11, I've seen one with ...039
2) 7-11, no version posted
3) 8-11, no version posted
1) 11-11, no version posted
2) 12-21, no version posted (I think this was a typo)
1) 1-12, version ...039

Is there any way to check without loading it? Sorry I'm a little bussy

Well I don't think there is a was that's easy. I bet one could find out what part of the backup the file is on, then dicect that, then maybe mount some image.

Do you have your "build date" the one behind the battery.

I assume the number pair indicated by the red arrow is what you want?

12/11 in my case. The phone has been reROMmed, so I cannot easily tell you what software version it came with. I do have a nandroid backup of it in nearly stock condition; so if anyone comes up with quick and easy way to get the version information from that, I may do so.

Sorry for the long delay. The only way I know is to restore the backup and look. I don't know what file reports the build info, so I can't direct anyone if I knew what chunk to mount.

If I remember correctly, one build had 5 bar codes and the other had 6.

09/11 version 1010_2_039 (original MT bought in January from Radio Shack)

19/11 version 1010_2_039 (1st replacement attempt by VM, sent right back -- refurb sticker: VTO 02/13/12)

06/11 version 1010_2_039 (2nd replacement from VM -- refurb sticker: VTO 03/08/12)

06/11 version 1010_2_038 (spare bought this month via eBay)

Build Number 7016_2_30h

If you look at the post with the picture, you'll see the number I'm looking for. I would also like the software version listed under the "about phone" section of the settings menu. So far my venture has been unfruitful. I have been looking for more drivers and both versions of the software I have seen have the same drivers.

If someone has a software version instead of ***_38 or ***_39 could you please post a nandroid backup or some other way of getting ROM to me?

Have you had any luck finding out which build date matches which build? If so I would like to know.

I'm trying to root my galaxy s2 in order to restore it to factory firmware (had bootloop) but since I can't turn it on I can't find out the build.

My Triumph is finally going to the Cellular Phone graveyard as the on/off switch no longer works and I've pretty much max'd out the memory. If anyone still cares, the build date is 6/11. The Software version is 1010_2_039

While you're reading this, I'd love your opinion on my next phone. My carrier is Virgin Mobile and I can't decide between the ZTE-Supreme or the Samsung Galaxy IIIs. Thanks to everyone for all the help I've gotten with my Triumph through this forum.

LG F3 for me. Same size as the MT, but great battery life, GPS, and screen resolution. Had to install a sound booster because low volume, but that been my only problem.
