Root What is your current rom+kernel?

i have noticed that negalite-blurom has been getting a lot of love on this site lately so i checked it out. the blue theme really got to me and i had move on. (but i really dug the 3d boot anime :D)

i found the d3rpICS ROM that is linked in a post above me about a week ago and have been on the Sense (gotta have the HTC agenda and music player and calculator widgets) version. i am in love with this ROM! the gray scale theme is subtle and toned down. its a nicely refined Sense rom that has become my new daily.

il duce put some nice options in the aroma installer. i am currently running the default kernel with the drama install option. smooth and bug free so far

almost forgot to mention the d3rp wallpapers included. the are worth while and not your typical plaster the dev's name all over your home screen wallpaper.

Unlocked Potential with stock kernel, i like a fully working rom with all features.

i was on the road today and needed GPS, So i went to my Unlocked Potential HD nandroid.

I switched back to Harmonia 3.17 with Anthrax 3.7.0 @ 1512Mhz. Now I am S-off. I was having a notable amount of shutter lag with camera in Unlocked Potential HD. Also as far as I can tell it does not have USB OTG support. Generally its a good rom though.

I'm currently running P.A.C.Man Jellybean 4.2.2 v20.1.0 with built-in butteredtoast 16.2. Everything seems to work except 3D. Very very smooth and stable, no random reboot or freezes for 2+ days now.

I'm using it with Anthrax 3.7 and have full usb otg support. :p

I was wondering about, but I don't use either of those ROM's. The way it's been implemented on the Evo 3D the OTG support only depends on the kernel and not the ROM.

Thanks, I was aware that the kernel support was a necessary aspect of USB OTG support but I was not sure if it was sufficient. Seeing that both Harmonia and Negalite list aspects of the feature in their descriptions I was not sure if higher level software support was required beyond just kernel support. I asked about this in both the "USB OTG working" thread and the "Unlocked Potential HD rom" thread but I did not get a reply. Thanks for the clarification.

MobsterRom HD-Sense, With Buttered Toast 16 kernel. Runs smooth with no problems. Averaging 3800 in quadrant running my cpu at 1350mhz(Still havent gotten my cpu settings to stick when my phone goes to sleep for longer than 10 minutes, But yeah.. Reflashed the kernel with a max of 1350mhz for now). OTG WORKS ALSO!

Lol that awkward moment when you are in a heated text message debate and all of a sudden you send it to the wrong person. :what:

Mine is Unlocked Potential HD with Anthrax 3.7.0 overclocked at 1620MHz. Love the audio from this combination. It's so loud, crisp, and clear. Music never sounded so good on a phone! In performance, I'm getting nearly 4000 in Quadrant! :p

I have to agree. There is something about Anthrax. I'm running Viper3d r284. Music sounds absolutely rich and stunning with Anthrax and Viper3d. I get great battery life with Smartass V2 @ 1566Mhz. I've played around with so many kernels and roms I find myself going back to Viper3d and Anthrax. With added tweaks, 4200-4600 Quadrant is common and 9500-9700 AnTuTu scores.
