what keyboards are u guys using?

wow after using swype for a few months and now trying swift key for 10 seconds I see the difference. I got one correction typing as fast as I could with swiftkey, so far soooo goood!
 
HTC _IME Mod is the best keyboard, because you can use gestures to delete the last word or the whole text input.

So for example i have swyping down set to deleting the last word i typed....this way is much easier rather than using the delete key.

Hi there! I'm new to the forums and to Android itself, so would you mind explaining to me how to get this keyboard? Thanks!
 
stock android keyboard for now...

couldn't get used to swipe....haven't tried any others like it. Most days I can't even predict what I am going to say let alone a program do so.
 
I've been using SwiftKey Beta and love it. However this morning I upgraded to
SwiftKey Beta Version 1.0.590 and now it has stopped working. Anyone else having issues with the latest update.
 
K, I tried the HTC_IME and Swiftkey keyboards, and they're missing something I'm rather fond of...the little button on my stock EVO keyboard in the lower left that makes the keyboard go away. I'll likely use the stock keyboard for now until someone else adds that to theirs. :) Thanks!

You can push the "back" button at the bottom of your Evo with all of the keyboards that I have tried to make it go away. Since that makes the key you are asking for a bit redundant, it might be a while before anyone adds that key to their keyboard.
 
I'm really getting frustrated with my keyboards. I had swype,but I lost lost it. Now I have swift key, the Android keyboard along with the stock. I cannot find a keyboard to keep up with my typing. The swift key was great and the predictive text was awesome, but for some reason it doesn't have the predictive text anymore ontop of the keyboard it just stopped out of the blue. Any recs would be great.
 
i use the stock evo keyboard and some times the swype. The newer version of swype i have isn't as accurate as the old one so i switched back to the stock android keyboard.
 
swype keyboard is great...i did realized i wasnt getting as good accuracy but it is still very good. kind of sucks when you use manually.
 
I really like SwiftKey. It does a great job at predicting text based on commonly used phrases and your own sentence structuring. The more you use it, the better and faster it gets.

Edit: Sorry, just noticed that the OP said that they used SwiftKey as well and it stopped working for them. That's a bit odd...did you try to uninstall it and reinstall it? Also, I think the Dev for that app is a member here. I am almost positive I saw a thread that he/she posted in somewhere in the Evo section of the forums here. If I find it again, I'll post the link to the thread...maybe you can try contacting the dev directly, as in the thread they were answering questions about the app.
