Root What ROM?

What type of ROM do you use regularly?

  • Sense Based (ARHD, LeeDrOiD, RCMix3D etc.)

I'm on ICS now, I'm pretty happy with it.

(It's based on cyanogen 9, so don't worry about that Stu ;))
 
So far since new year I have used Oxygen, RD MIUI, cm7 (on now), mikrunny 1.1 (which is by far the best sense rom I have used)

The amount of stuff I flash has gotten quite bad, I can't seem to stop :p
 
I'm on CM7.1 for now... but hang on a min...

Where did you get it Xyro? Is it one of the beta's that was in the All Things Root thread?

Yeah, it's one of those. The most recent one is always here. It's still in beta though (no camera), so be warned.

Excellent! I have a feeling that I will be getting this on when I get in later!

Ok... still in beta and there's no camera... think I can live with that though!!! :)
 
I've never liked Sense, so I was using CM7 for quite a long time, but it started to get really slow, so I started trying different Roms. 2 days ago I flashed Android Revolution HD (with Sense), and I gotta say it faster than CM7, it's fast as hell, plus the battery life is amazing, it lasts almost twice as long as it did with CM7, and I use it alot throughout the day for browsing.

I've got lordmord UV installed, how do I check whether it's enabled. ? Since when I press on -50mv it only says super user rights

Edit: Changed to Miui after trying Oxygen rom ( the rom's too naked for my liking) and must say Miui does look

ARHD for me, but was wondering if i have the correct kernel, its reading 2.6.35.14 Lordmodnct-5.0-CFS+

The latest kernel in his 6.3.1 build is the RCMix3D V11.1 NCR Kernel so if you haven't changed to lordmods then somethings amiss either your running and old version of ARHD or have flashed it since...hmmmm...Next you'll say you used my ARHD pack and I'll facepalm in embarrassment for putting the wrong one on lol
 
i quite like the sense based roms, i tried some of the other and just didnt feel as happy with the whole feel and look,
