What sports events will you see on your EVO?

I can't either. To pass on Earl Thomas made me mad, then get this DT infuriates me.

I know you can't put stock into "grades", but Alualu is graded a 8.2, while other picks around there are in the 8.6-8.8 range. This D'Anthony Smith guy is rated a 6.0, while other picks around there are like 7.2-6.8. WTF. They still need a damn safety.

Tebow's pick is mind-boggling because they gave up so much to get him. So dumb. I think is shows that McCown is one of the most egotistical S.O.B.s in the league.

I just can't see mcdaniels putting tebow under center except on trick plays. granted he's a great lockerroom presence, but I see him as a specialty player as a hybrid tightend/fullback at best. His mechanics need to be dismantled and rebuilt to be a QB and that'd take years

texans just picked up a DT. not sure why.

i really do like del rio though, i like his hard-nosed no-bullshit coaching style, but i think they are probably the 4th in the AFC south now. won't be surprised to see JAX move to another city in the next few years

I don't know how good he'll be in the locker room really. If I'm a vet I don't want some 22 year old pup coming into my locker room preaching the gospel at me - LOL.

Browns finally get their QB, and they got him in a spot where if he doesn't pan out they don't lose tons of money. Good move by them IMO.

I don't have a huge issue with Del Rio, but that front office cant draft for shit. Unless they make the playoffs or win 9 games he's gone, IMO.

I don't think I'll DL a sports app after all on my EVO...it'll just be a painful reminder of how much FAIL our teams have been lately. Heat just lost by a buzzer-beater.

Dolphins fail to address a major need at safety...

i think tebow saves the gospel talk for the destitute in the philippines :D the dude is super-intense and he could probably convince anyone to follow him despite his age. rooks come into the league all the time and become leaders. bryan cushing came to the texans last year from USC and was a pro-bowler and defensive ROY because he brought fiery physical violence to the defense. That creep roethlisberger won a lombardi trophy his rookie season for the steelers. devin hester had the best special teams return season in history as a rook. Capturing lightning in a bottle can have a definite impact.

agreed about the JAX front office.

this is why i removed the rockets and astros from my favorite teams on sportstap ;) i didn't want to be reminded of constant fail.

Yea, but all those guys saw the field. Tebow isn't doing shit in the league. He'll be third on the depth chart, and at best will see the field for 4-5 plays a game.

Agreed lol, I think he's going to be disappointing as a number one overall pick.

I'm hoping. I actually know nothing about him but I'm hoping our secondary is much much better next year between Revis, Cromartie, this new guy, and the other guy they signed from Indianapolis (forget his name at the moment). We can't afford to have QB's pick us apart like Brees and Manning did last year.

If Sanchez continues to progress and make correct reads, and if we stay relatively healthy, I do not see why we cannot get back to at LEAST the AFC championship game.

As for my other teams...I 'like' the Mets and NYRangers but don't follow those sports too much.

Basketball is my favorite sport. I'm a UAlbany D1 Mens basketball Season ticket holder (3rd Row, center court) and a HUGE Miami Heat fan (although being a NY'er, I follow the Knicks as well). Yes, I know that's ironic lol. The 90's were a long time ago.

Right now the Heat suck. Beyond Wade there is NO ONE who can do anything. Although Beasley averages 20/9 per 40 minutes, he's been a disappointment. I wish we had gotten Rose. The sad thing is it's all mental with Beasley. It's not that just can't ball. Dude is, talent wise, a ridiculous player.

I don't see the Heat winning a game against Boston. Hopefully we get Stat or Bosh (although I personally think Bosh is going to OKC) and then fill in the rest with vets.

It's okay, I wasn't even expecting us to be the #5 seed and have 47 wins.

I'm rooting for OKC to win against the Lakers. My pick for the Champs is Cleveland.

The pickups so far this offseason is making it hard to bet against them.. Let's hope there's no sophmore slump...the highlites I've seen of this guy looked pretty good.. I was reading something about him going 7th in the 1st rd but he fell for some reason.. Hopefully we can put some more pts on the board this yr and play a little more smash mouth defense...they also grabbed a pretty big lineman tonight 6'5 350lb may eventually replace faneca... I had season tickets sec 233 row j in the meadowlands.. Still on the fence about this whole psl idea tho.. After that I'm a mets an knicks fan so I guess u can say I'm a glutton for punishment haha.. Haven't really followed basketball since the 90s knicks era.. (can't seem to get into it it's not the same as the Oakley rebounding mason shutting people down Jordan included and John starks dunking days with swings turnaround jumpers)

He's mobile, he's accurate, he's smart, he's a hard worker, he's a leader, and he knows how to win. There's no doubt in my mind Texas would be the BCS champions if McCoy didn't get hurt. Sounds like the pedigree to be a successful quarterback in the NFL. He may not have the strongest arm in the crop of QBs in this year's draft but that can come through strength training. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning didn't have strong arms either when they came out of college. Going to the Browns will probably slow his development as a successful QB in the beginning (Clausen is surrounded by weapons in Carolina, a much better situation than the Browns) but they will get better in time and he'll grow in the process.

The spread offense that UT ran for him does not exist in the NFL. A significant portion of his yardage was on designed runs when Shipley was the defense's attention, and he will get murdered in the NFL for that since he is undersized. Bama killed him quickly and deserved their MNC with no excuses for eliminating him from the game. On any team with a clear QB I'd say McCoy would be on the practice squad but cleveland is just that desperate. I guess we'll see.

Colt reminds me a LOT of Brees. He seems to have worked out pretty good :D

I reallythink the Browns are moving in a good direction. When they get rid of Mangini at the Bye week this year and Holmgren steps in as coach they'll start turning it around.

I'm going to watch alot of stuff on this badboy. With that being said......GO NY GIANTS AND GO YANKEES!!!!!!!

bGZ7mU

COOL...you're a Yankee fan?

Nothing would make me happier than to see the Lakers in the finals around the time I get this phone.

Anyone watching the draft on NFL Network? They just held up a Motorola Droid with the draft streaming live from it, advertising Verizon Wireless. Looks like Verizon hasn't wasted any time.
