Sorry for bumping a seemingly dead thread here, but there's just so much info here that it'd be a shame to let it die.
MY PROFILES:
ClearCache: every day at 4:00AM, the profile launches Fast Cache Cleaner, an app that has no UI and simply clears cache on launch.
LowerMediaVolume: Got tired of deafening myself if I forgot to turn the media volume down. When a headset is plugged in, media volume goes to 2.
PillTxt: As a reminder to take my medication, I have a profile to text myself at 11:45PM every day. A text alert works better for me than a pop up, as I can leave it in the notification bar if I'm not at home and can't take it right away, and don't have to worry about constant nagging like I would if I set an alarm and kept hitting snooze.
ChargingAlert: I disabled the charging LED a long time ago (don't even remember how I did that, but it wasn't with Tasker), but I still like a satisfying confirmation that my phone is charging. When it's plugged in, it vibrates and flashes "Power source connected". As an exit task, it vibrates and flashes "Power source disconnected."
PuffinRotate: Simple one. I like to use Puffin browser sometimes for desktop purposes, and since I never have autorotate enabled, I set it to only be enabled in Puffin, and.....
YouTubeRotate: same as above. I could probably lump this into one profile, but I haven't.
StealthMode: My job doesn't *allow* people to carry phones, So I set this up to activate between 9AM and 3PM (when I work) to set the phone to silent. No one is none the wiser.
ShutUpThursday: Between 7AM and 11:30AM, my phone goes into airplane mode. Though my boss is aware that I have a weekly therapy appointment on Thursday and was fine with that upon hiring me, he's lately become a bit of an ass and says he wants me to come in anyway. Got tired of explaining this and the morning phone calls asking me to come in. No incoming calls now, I've explained myself enough!
BatteryWarning: My phone is a little buggy when it comes to the battery. After dropping past 14%, it could shut down at any second. So between 14%-16%, the phone vibrates and flashes "CONNECT POWER SOURCE", because once it dies, I have to go through TWRP to properly get it to boot up again.
ProlongDisplayForGallery: I'm an artist and use references from time to time, so I set the display to time out after 20 minutes of inactivity.
ShortenDisplayForInstagram: Display times out after 2 minutes of inactivity. This seems to be long enough for watching videos uploaded there as well.
ShortenDisplayForHome: I tend to forget to lock my phone, so it times out after 1 minute of inactivity. In all other apps, my screen default is 5 minutes.
TurnOnWifiArceus: Since my boyfriend's phone has truly unlimited data and I'm on a limited plan, my phone is set to turn on wifi when his hotspot is on. Both our phones have AutoRemote, so I can send his phone a command to toggle his hotspot on, which activates his own Tasker profile set to turn the hotspot on and flashes "Hotspot activated" on his screen. Once on, my own phone automatically switches to WiFi. The 'Arceus' part is because that's what he named his phone.
MorningAlerts: I charge my phone overnight, so this profile is set to activate when I usually wake up (between 6:00am and 7:20am) + when the phone is unplugged. A pop-up comes onto my screen to remind me of morning tasks (which changes from time to time), since I'm always too groggy to remember anything.
