Help What the heck is this screen?

I was quite surprised when I pulled my Droid X out of my purse to check my mail and saw this (see attached pictures, hope I did it right) on my screen instead of my usual Launcher ProPlus screen. One of the pictures attached is the "new" home screen and one is what it looks like after I pressed the Calling soft button. Once I pressed Closed, the new screen disappeared and my usual home screen showed up. Has anyone every seen this before and how did it happen? I am unable to recreate what happened to get this screen to show up.

Never posted to a forum in my life but my curiosity has gotten the better of me..

It's in your apps.. "car dock".. so you can recreate it whenever you like. It's auto-activated when placed in the Droid X motorola car mount.. However you can just run the app in any mount, either landscape or portrait. Big buttons while driving. There's a similar "home dock" app also for when placed in the desktop cradle. Makes the X look like an alarm clock on steroids I think.. I haven't even activated it myself.

So you're saying this is the...car dock? Tell me more...
 
But it wasn't even in a car, it was in a purse, so that would make it a purse dock right?
Wait...or was the purse in the car? I'm so confused.
 
My magnetic money clip turns this on all the time. You can also create a shortcut to it through Launcher Pro without the need for a magnet.
 
Is there any way to keep this app from turning on. I have a magnet that I keep my phone on to charge and it always turns on the app. I can not uninstall the app since it's part of the UI.. any ideas how to stop the CarDock from coming on.. thanks
