What's for dinner ?

Repurposed leftovers:
Mac and cheese with sausage and cauliflower with kale caesar salad. May be able to get rid of some more stuff. :)

Pop-Pop's birthday dinner so its lots of yummies - t-bone steak, shrimp scampi, roasted fingerling potatoes, sweet potatoes (some of the family doesn't like sweets), cold asparagus & tomato salad, cooked carrots. Dessert is strawberry shortcake with homemade pound cake and homemade whipped cream.

Man I hope you are hungry. :) Sound wonderful and PLENTIFUL

Planning to brew up some taco-seasoned ground beef, heat up some beans, and do build-your-own burritos with fridge stuff such as shredded cheese, sour cream, and olives.

Sausages, Mash & peas with gravy.

Also stewing down 1.5k of steak for later. :)

Update: using gravy from the stewed steak on the Sausages & mash = epic win :thumb:

I stopped eating meat in January. So far so good, but it is becoming a challenge trying to have variety. Last night I BBQ, Santa Maria Tri-tip
and chicken for everyone but me. I had salad and pasta. If anyone has non meat ideas I am all open.

I made mushrooms filled with cream cheese w/ fine herbs in tin foil on the bbq last week.
And folded tortilla wraps filled with fine sliced tomato, mushrooms, garlic, sweet pepper n cheddar cheese, in tin foil from the bbq.
Both verrrrry yummy :)

We had prime rib cooked on the smoker for Mother's Day dinner. Wife fixed a pasta and spinach salad to accompany. For warm ups we had some home made corn salsa and chips... and perhaps some refreshing beverages.

Just cooked a New York Strip Steak with my GF grill...first time really cooking steak without any help. I like mine medium rare but it turned out well done because I cooked it about a minute too long. It'll be better next time...

I made on the grill ,garlic and lemon pepper skinless boneless chicken breasts . Sliced up potatoes wrapped em up in tin foil with butter and a bit of water and seasoning . Hamburgers , peas and green beans . It was a whole lot of food but oh so good . I really out did myself today. I had to roll into bed.

We had Baja Fresh last night. :)
Not sure what tonight will be. Thinking just a big salad with some turkey, beans, veggies. Something nice and hearty.

Hummus, mediterranean pita bread, and some really nice, krispy guacamole salad. im drooling thinking bout it right now..
