Wife and I are going to Social tonight:
Social Wine Bar
and, then afterwards, The Gin Joint for drinks.

This is basically our last night of vacation (tomorrow we're cooking out with all the fam) so we're making the best of it.

Wine, Gin, liquid dinner then?

Either making a home made meat feast pasta bake or going out for a chip shop buffet, not sure yet.

Pepperoni
Salami
Peppers

All sliced into strips and diced, cooked in a little butter and garlic

Pasta twists - cooked

Throw together and add sauce (Tomato & Spicy Pepperoni + Reggae Reggae curry sauce) all mixed up in the bowl and topped with mature cheese and baked for half hour. Nom

Shared dinner with Dad tonight (we ordered appetizers) - a lettuce wedge with blue cheese, bacon and red onions; steak and chimichurri empanadas; spicy shrimp and chorizo; baked brie; fried calamari. It was delicious.

Leftover pork roast is stewing with some jalapeno slices, onions, tomatoes, and chili seasoning. The mix will be rolled in tortillas later with some shredded cheese for burritos.

Thank you very much. She's been my best friend for 5 years (she's only 6) and I would sacrifice much more than a good meal if it would save her.

She's happy and doesn't know she's dying. That's the best part about the whole thing. She would have died 6 months ago without the Chemo.
Very expensive though ($6,000 so far).

Just curious as to how you grilled them huh. The only time I grilled asparagus I wrapped them in foil with some butter and a bit of parmesan cheese. I'm open for ideas. Thanks

They do look good. It doesn't look like foil was used because you can see the grill marks.

I know...they look great! I grill all the time and love asparagus. I definitely enjoy ideas. My asparagus turned out ok.. nothing to rant about however.
