Another hand at cooking at home (am I on a roll?):
Fried pork chops with a mushroom gravy/sauce of sorts
Broiled asparagus
Spiced rice
Spinach salad
Easy, and quick (for me) dinner. Just waiting on the lady.
Oh, and we have a half bottle of wine too.

I'm greasing the gears tonight... having chicken fried pork cutlets and fried potatoes. Will have some cottage cheese too.

White asparagus? Don't think I've ever had the stuff. Is it not grown in the dark to inhibit the color to develop?

Got the slow cooker going before I left for work this morning, potatoes, onions, bacon, cheddar cheese, and a little butter. 12 hours on low. Should be good. Having a cheesy garlic chicken breast to go with it.
