Last night I ordered pizza from the hut. Tonight will likely be a sandwich night.
I'm meeting old friends at the cabin tonight for an early Thanksgiving dinner.
Will be making Fish Burgers for dinner
Dinner is undecided. Teenage son has to finalize plans with his girlfriend so I know who's around. If it is just me, probably fast food.
Dinner at the cabin was lots of fun. Four couples all contributing to dinner meant there was lots of goodies to go with the turkey. It was a beautiful day and we hung out on the deck all afternoon.
I had a fish fry tonight. Fresh caught Cod with my favorite seasoned batter and home made tartar sauce. I love fish!
Turkey sandwich and potato chips
Fish burgers out of the leftover breaded fried cod.
Roast beef sub
Chili cheese dogs and chips.
Salmon and green beans
Fried breaded pork cutlets and mixed vegetables.
Tuna salad sandwich and some deviled eggs.
Leftover turkey and dressing
Bacon cheese burgers and chips.
McDonald's Filet O Fish
It's crazy how small these are now compared to years past. Need to change the name to McMinnow.
It was once my go to McSandwich but that was many years ago. It was a time of a much larger filet of Atlantic Cod. I always ordered the sandwich without tartar sauce for it covered up the flavor of the filet. A Google search informs me that they quit using Cod in 2013. I don't need Google to inform me of the shrinking portion of fish served. My wife and her cronies ate at McDonald's a couple of weeks back and she had a filet. She told me it wasn't bad once she tore off the extra bun.
