I told you I was grilling the steaks tonight and I am. They're seared with my own technique and coming up to temperature low and slow.
American Chop Suey (or goulash for you non New England folks). Yesterday I took a brisket and four pork butts to my FIL and had it made into ground beef and sausage (well 3 porkettas too, but that isn't in this dish) so this is all fresh ground beef and fresh ground pork sausage meat.
I feel like a tramp.... I had leftover chicken salad sandwiches and chips.

Pizza, had home made chilli last night,
the night before home-made nachos.

Last night we had lasagna. Tonight we are having grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup.
Leftover pizza from last night (the most epic pizza place in the county is a mile from our house).
The Boss Lady and I picked up Chinese tonight.

I'm grilling out some chicken thighs for dinner tonight.
I smoked a brisket yesterday. Today I'll mix the remaining smoked meat with burger for a brisket shepherd pie.
Brisket chunks mixed with home made ground beef (ground up brisket) for the yum yum part of my shepherds pie.
Chipotle. Tried their brisket in my bowl this time over my usual steak. It was actually really good.

Tuesday we had all sorts of sausages and cheeses and assorted snack items. Wednesday I smoked out a ham. Today we snacked some and then had ham sandwiches for dinner. Tomorrow we are going out to eat at a German restaurant with another couple who are in town for the holidays. Tis the season to be jolly and eat way too much.
We had a great dinner at a German restaurant called Prost. They serve traditional German dishes and beirs. I tried their Jägerschnitzel and was very pleased. It was a fun meal with good friends.

We had some leftover game hens, stovetop dressing and black bean salad.
The NYE get-together is off because my sister in-law has had the crud also, so the wife is making simple hamburger steaks with peppers, onions and mushrooms. Washed down with some good bourbon.

We are eating at the cabin and everyone is bringing something. I'm bringing a turkey breast, dressing, and gravy. Another is bringing a spiral ham and baked sweet potatoes. Everything else will be a surprise. The party will last from noon today until noon tomorrow so there will be lots of chips and dips and perhaps an adult beverage or two consumed.
