Root what's going on with CM9 for the esteem , it's been a year

CM9 (based on ICS) is a totally different animal, compared to GB.
It's like comparing a helicopter to a jet fighter - sure, they both fly, but man are they completely different. It's SO different, one could say it's a complete re-write of Android.

Most of us have excepted the fact that it's just not going to happen for the Esteem.
Besides - we have #2. lol

Honestly, I don't think ANY Metro phone will get CM9. Developer interest in Metro phones just isn't there, IMHO...

Sorry to sound like a buzzkill. :o

'ANNIE' is the name of my cat - that likes to knock my an'DROID' off the dresser at night and chew the charging cord in two.

Sorry to have confused anyone, but I'm a 50 year old man.

If I had given up on it I would have posted such, not just disappear ;)

Just cause I may not be posting doesnt mean I'm not working on it.

I am working on several devices, the more I do, the more I learn, the more I can apply whats learn to other projects. Unfortunately this process may slow progress all around, but progress gets made none the less. ;)

With that said, with assistance from hroark13, who straightened out my kernel, I had kgsl all messed up, the pink screen issue is fixed. So hopefully, I will have something new for all the flashoholics in the next few days.

oh boy. I feel like that truck driver that just picked up a skinny little loch lizard from the truck stop and reached down to find out he got more than he paid for. Lmao

Well honestly I see Annie and automatically I picture a little curly red headed girl. So the "female" thought was already in my head AND through our different run ins on the forums there was never any notion to make me think any different. lol.

if you have winzip, winrar, or 7zip installed, just open the zip up in one of those, nav to META-INF/com/google/android. then dbl click on updater-script and it shold open in notepad, notepad++ is recommended ;), and remove the first line.

it should ask if you want to update said file, click ok and then copy to phone. ;)
