What's the weather like where you are?

After a few days of high seventies to low eighties I now get highs in the forties. Low last night was 28° and should be near that tonight. Spring is having a difficult time breaking through winter.

Over cast and slightly chilly

It warmed into the mid sixties today with very little wind. It seems super nice after the cold snap. It was fun without wearing a sweatshirt and gloves while mowing. The ten day forecast has temps in the low seventies all next week. I'm ready... bring it!

ok it was nice yesterday. it was sunny and warm with very little clouds overhead. today it was mostly overcast with some sun here and there. and tonight it is pretty chilly. crazy LA weather!!!!!!!!

That's exactly how it looks up in our local mountains--which means, thankfully, that @ocnbrze and I are unaffected down here in our valley. :)

All the ski resorts had to shut down, the roads up are patrolled so people just wanting to play in the snow can't, and California Doubles are [temporarily] a thing of the past. :(
really?????
i was planning to go later today. it is a thing i like to do with my puppy (a 4yr old one at that). he loves to play in the snow.

Yes, really. Last weekend on KTLA's morning news, while Mark Kriski was doing the weather, the background screen had amazing video of tons of snow up in the mountains. He said [I'm paraphrasing], 'put your chains on, make sure you're properly prepared, and drive up to Big Bear and enjoy the snow. Make sure you and your family follow all social distancing rules..." etc. He did the weather, they went to a break, and when they came back...uh-oh!

I believe it was the CHP who tweeted a stern rebuttal, with MUCH CAPITAL LETTERS, saying 'no! the roads are closed, you can't go up there to play, blah blah blah...only local residents are allowed through.'

So save your time and gas...
