What's the weather like where you are?

At least you've received some moisture. I hope that helps. Stay safe.

I got a pretty substantial rain fall this afternoon which spoiled my Friday mows. .89 inch total since midnight. I don't remember what it rained late evening... about a tenth of an inch is all is what I'm thinking. Warm weather is in the 10 day forecast so the grass is really going to go crazy.

Clear skies and sunny

Do you guys wear parkas when it's °40?
40°?! Try 60°! :o

Seriously, and I've said this before, on New Year's Day at the Rose Parade, here's how to tell the natives from the tourists: the ones bundled up in parkas, hats, mittens, blankets, earmuffs, and scarves--they're my fellow native Angelenos. The ones in shorts, flip-flops, t-shirts, tank tops, sandals--they're the tourists. The temperature? Depending on the time, where you are along the route, and whether you're in shade or sun, it varies from ≈60° to ≈75°. Parkas. Really.

It was a nice day here as well. Temps in the low seventies with a weather front passing just to the North of here this afternoon. It is supposed to be cooler tomorrow but that's not all bad. I have a landscape job going on in the Am which will require a bit more physical output then mowing. Mowing in the PM with temps again predicted to be in the low seventies. No complaints from me.

It's a beautiful day here in doodah. I received just a bit of rain over night and woke up to wet grass and 62° of sunshine. It's warmed up into the low seventies now with just a gentle breeze. I have ribs smoking out back and it's difficult to not just hang out and watch the smoke roll off the stack. Absolutely perfect day.

this is kind of weather related (but not really) but southern California is seeing a red tide event. and these red tides are bioluminescent and are causing waves to glow.

i think this weekend i might try and sneak into the beaches so i can observe the event for myself. i'll try and take pics if i can.

check it out:
