What's the weather like where you are?

It's been beautiful here this week. Temps rising into the high seventies with no wind and broken cloud cover. The humidity is still crazy high but hasn't seemed uncomfortable. I'll take it...

Once again, a picture says it all; these are FEMA alerts from today...

Absolutely glorious day of sunshine, low humidity and temps in the 60's. Perfect day to stroll through Longwood Gardens with the Mrs. (For our anniversary).

It's been misting all morning. Very lightly misting but constant. It has finally accumulated to the point it is dripping off the autos outside. 66° with 99% humidity.

Sounds nice, @olbriar! Enjoy the break from your sticky, hot summer. How long does fall generally last?

You're still mowing, I presume.
I'm still mowing but it is slowing down. I don't have my clients sign a contract of so many mows for so many dollars a season. I mow weekly until it has slowed enough where I mow every other week. It likely works out the same for each of us but we both feel better about it. I hate mowing when I can't see if I've mowed that strip already and I hate taking money that isn't really earned. I'm sure my clients feel better that they get what they are paying for when it needs attention as well. But, it is slowing so some lawns are now every other week lawns. Makes me sad to see it end each year. It is odd I know, but I love mowing and seeing my clients each week. I've mowed lawns for so many years that I've seen children of clients grow up and their children grow up. Many of my clients are like extended family to me.

And yes.... a deep sigh of relief that my hot humid weather pattern finally broke.
Fall can consist of a week sometimes . :) Normally, fall hits about this time of year and will last until Thanksgiving or so. It varies from year to year so I can't really put a time stamp on it. I love fall so it never seems long enough. :)
