What's the weather like where you are?

The article says more, but that's the gist of it. Keep in mind the record-shattering high temperatures we had recently. There used to be a 'fire season' here--now ANY season is fire season; several wildfires are burning right now.

Meanwhile...elsewhere...people think climate change is yet another hoax! :o
 
Right now it is snowing and windy in Boston. My 'tumnal tree has turned white. My streets and sidewalks are getting covered in snow. The meteorologist guessed yesterday and he was wrong.
I LOVE THIZ CITY!

Fastest way to get the power back on is to dig out the generator and enough extension cords to keep the essentials going. :p Thankfully we were only out for 90 minutes.

Stopped to use the rest room, its a bit cold kind of thinking we have moved beyond shorts weather :oops::thinking: (wow look at me multi tasking , I covered whats the weather like where you are and random thought threads in one post :D:thumbsupdroid:

They're saying there will be a 30-degree drop from Thursday, in the mid-90s, to Saturday, in the mid-60s. I guess we'll see.

Of course, my fellow natives will be bitching and moaning about how cold it is, while I'll be sitting here rolling my eyes at them...
 
It's about time your weather made a change. Been too hot for too long. It's nice here today. It's approaching 70° and supposed to be warmer tomorrow. It is windy but I like the temps, especially when compared to the twenties and ice and snow just a week ago.
 
Yes, it seems like it's been hot forever, @olbriar! I, for one, will be very happy with high temps in the 60s. And, of course, you'll hear me snickering as everyone else breaks out the heavy coats, scarves, gloves...the whole works. :rolleyes:

It sounds like you're having quite nice weather right now. Enjoy it! :)
 
We're doing the full boat this week ... Last Friday was heavy rain, followed by wind and cold with wind chills in the 25°F range followed by sun and getting up to 70°F by this Friday.

It was a beautiful morning to get out and vote.
