What's the weather like where you are?

The temp maxed out at 75.6° a few minutes ago here at the ranch. With a wind of 6mph it is simply amazing! The sun has been hidden by a cloud cover or it would seem even more spring like. Pretty crazy weather for these parts.

Golf weather December 28th! It's 60° and climbing at 11:30 AM with a South wind that is gusting into the thirty MPH range. Oh well, it's warm and a cold front is coming in. Tee time in a couple of hours. :)

I hope it doesn't rain so much that you have mud slides.
the way it has been coming down that past few hours i would not be surprised if there were mudslides in the burn areas. can't say i remember when we had storms that lasted multiple days like it has been the past few weeks. the last couple of years we would have maybe a storm that came and went in a day and that's it for the week or even for the month.

i love the rain and i hope we get more of it. right now i'm chilling in the back porch with my dog smoking a cheap cigar and drinking some stormed chilled glass of good bourbon....listening to the rain drops.

They're evacuating certain foothill neighborhoods near burn areas, plus they've put up K-rails and sandbags galore all along the streets, and around people's houses, in areas likely to be affected by mudslides. Today is supposedly the last day for rain [in the next 7 days], but I wish it would stick around. We need it so badly.

Lake Tahoe set an all-time record for snowfall. I was half asleep when I heard this, so I may have the number wrong, but I believe they said 212 inches. At any rate, it definitely was an all-time record, and THAT is a wonderful thing to hear. I can't say enough about how important snowfall in the mountains is for us, even down here in SoCal, the snowfall up in NorCal's mountains plays a big part in our water supply. So the more, the merrier!

Just five days ago it was 60° and now it's 8°. Freezing rain and light snow moved through this morning and with that front the temperatures plummeted. It is that time of year so the weather is to be expected. It wouldn't seem so harsh if we hadn't had such a warm December.

Welcome to middle Tennessee, where we go from 70 degrees and thunderstorms to 30 degrees and snow... in 48 hours

I hear ya' Chief! D.C. is currently 63°F and they just issued a winter storm warning for tomorrow. We are a little farther north, but it was 57°F today ... 28° tomorrow.

It is warming up nicely here. It's currently 46.4° which exceeds predictions. Tomorrow's high is supposed to be 50° but I'm filled with optimism. Perhaps mid fifties... :) The temps fall off from Tuesday on until the weekend which might be in the fifties as well. Not too bad for January.

It didn't seem that bleak looking at the forecast but now that I'm living it.. it is cold! With single digit temps and gusty winds from the North, wind chills are in the minus column. A light dusting of snow fell over night which doesn't help matters. I'm glad that I have no reason to step outside today.

It was really nice here today. I think 54° was the high. It's supposed to be even warmer tomorrow with a bit of wind from the South. It's going to be so nice that I plan to play a round of golf. Thursday supposed to be the nicest day this week then the highs start dropping back into the mid to lower forties. Outstanding January weather!

It got into the mid fifties today with just a gentle Easterly wind. It was nice enough that my son and I played a round of golf. We no more than got home and the winds game roaring in and the temps dropped like a rock. We saw a 94.4 mph gust on my weather station and many gusts in the seventies. It's now 32° and snowing. I'm glad we were able to play today for there will be no playing tomorrow.

Oh boy, here comes Snowzilla or Snowmageddon or whatever they're calling the end of the world this time... Middle Tennessee is expecting 3-7 inches of wet snow; plummeting temperatures and deadly driving conditions (not because of the weather, but because of the idiots). Then rain and then more snow later in the week.

Stores running out of bread, milk, eggs and toilet paper in 3... 2... 1...

It has snowed here most of the day. Very light snow that is horizontal. I think it fell in Nebraska and will eventually land in Oklahoma. North winds have been gusting big time making it miserable to be outside. It's 21.6° with wind chills in the single digits.
No snow accumulation to speak of however. Stay safe Chief.

A bit chilly out;)

Yesterday the temps reached into the low fifties with a brisk wind. It was so nice that my son and I had to play a round of golf. We picked the wrong day. Today it is nearing sixty degrees with zero wind. It's a perfect day to do anything outside. Tomorrow's high is predicted to be 31° and Thursday a high of 24°. Back to our regularly scheduled January weather.

Yesterday was like massively windy and chilly, I was outside of the house a few times, hit the gym around two in the afternoon, then almost suddenly went to take a shower after lunch, and just threw my clothes on and headed out for my mom's 70th birthday.
I photograph her at my sister's place opening up gifts and send them to someone. :)
Today much less windy, around 7mph, still really upper 30s.
