What's the weather like where you are?

Slightly chilly out this morning

Yes!! The kind that doesn't last--make the roads slippery.
I wasn't out this morning but I don't think it ever accumulated on the roads. My yard was completely blanketed at seven this morning but was all but gone by nine. The snow fell as the temps dipped in the wee hours and turned the last of the inch rain that proceeded it into the white stuff. We needed the moisture so it was all good.

Another day begins, praise the Lord. Roughly six more weeks of winter weather and snow to possibly contend with. A lot of places I travel to or through still get the unexpected freakish snow storm up through April. Generally speaking by the first of May, the Snow has gone away till August:D

It has now rained for 48 hours straight. It has been a light gentle rain but continuous. My rain gauge shows just under 2.5" total rainfall in all. It is a much needed rain and falling at a rate that is producing very little run off. It's all good.

↑↑↑Can you say AC Time :) ↑↑↑
It's wet and cold here. Following the rains it's now overcast with a brisk North wind that's gusting up to the mid thirty mph range. The temperature may reach forty degrees by noon. Basically it is a dreary cold day in Kansas.

Oh, yeah, definitely! My AC has been running non-stop for a few days.

Right--but are any houses being scooped up by cyclones and carried away to magical lands? :D

The weather has been so messed up the last few years that we have been excluded from the tornado alley. I can't say that I'm upset by the change. I feel sorry for the people now in the danger zone.

Judging from news reports I see quite often, my old 'home' (although I NEVER thought of it that way), Dallas, is still very much a part of Tornado Alley. In fact, it seems like tornadoes--and their destruction--are getting worse throughout the south. I don't miss that one bit.

Knocking on wood as I type. :) They still test our physical sirens that warn of imminent danger each Monday at noon. I don't recall them being used as a warning in a few years. As a child I well remember them being utilized many times each summer. Fast forward to when my children were little, we were warned just a couple of times each season. This isn't to say that where I live there is not a risk. It does seem to indicate that there is a slow change in the weather pattern. Note: Kansas has experienced some destructive tornadoes in the last decade. I was just not in the path of the threat.

It's a little chilly out, wind gusts are 35-40 mph

It felt like spring here today. I turned on the AC for the first time this year. I think temps got into the low eighties but I honestly didn't pay much attention. I was outside and it seemed hot. Then it became very windy as the leading edge of a storm front approached. It dropped .57 inch and a lot of pea sized hail. At least it cooled things
off and we definitely need the moisture.

Eighty plus degrees Tuesday with a thunderstorm over night. Wednesday the high was in the mid forties with wind from the North. Today snow with the temps just now reaching 32°. Not a great deal of snow fell and I think it has moved out. Tomorrow a high in the mid sixties is predicted with another thunderstorm. Kansas.....

Have to say this winter season was rather tamed. I think I was only force to shut down fours days because of snow

It snowed often here Joe but only once was it of consequence. It did manage to snow at least some each week of March. It's a beautiful day today and I think, hope, the snows are over until later this year. Currently it is 53° with a gentle breeze.
