Yea it was late 06 early 07 when i went

I need to go back then. I'm a little kid again when it comes to ANYTHING star wars.

Went on a Caribbean cruise last year... BEST VACATION EVER!!! Got a great deal from a site called perx and can't wait to go again
what time of the year i was looking into a 9 day cruise around november of 2012

Had to quote this pic cause its just SO FREAKIN AWESOME!!!

What's even more awsome is that was with the bolt. I hear the droid charge people talk about how awsome the camera is over ours. Last I checked only one picture was posted and that was at night and it looked like every other camera phone picture grainy. Other than that no pics was posted. So I guess I have to take their word for it. Lol

May, Oct and Nov seen to be the cheapest months. BTW anything over 7 days is a usually a bit too long for most

That is the star wars sim ride in Hollywood studios Disney world

i was eating at the place right next to it and watching the kids on stage act out fighting the sith, maybe i was paying too much attention to that, although looking at the picture that things huge, i really dont know how i missed that :(

2 rides that I miss is the 20,000 leagues under the sea and Mr Toads wild ride.
Please tell me they didn't get rid of this in Disney Land!
Mr Toad is my all-time favorite. I also love the Dumbo ride.
Star Tours is also great. Supposed to be getting a full overhaul with five different scenarios. Hopefully Lucas doesn't botch it though...

where as 6 flags we just bought season passes for 45$ a person and theyre good for any 6 flags in the world.

There are quite a few Six Flags. I think the closest one to Boston would be in Springfield, Mass (wasn't that hit by a tornado just yesterday?)

How could you buy season passes and not know where to use them? lol Doesn't sound like a well thought out investment. :p I <3 me some rollercoasters!

Has anyone ever being to a park with paid fastpass
Always wanted to bate the heads off the elitist jerks who used that when I was in Portaventura lol
I felt the same way until I bought the tickets. We now go early, before lines start to form, and ride everything we want. Once big lines form, we ride it all again, and then go home before it gets hot. I always go middle of summer to Six Flags Magic Mountain and generally go home with a splitting headache (coasters, plus the heat, plus dehydration). It's worth the extra bit to not feel nauseous for the ride home!

Disneyland I dont know. I know Disney world they did. I was mad. that star tours was closed when I was down. I think they have 3 of the simulators running right now and all open for their star wars celebration in June.

i was just there yesterday, it was kinda scary since when i was leaving i could see the storm coming in behind me. luckily i live furthur south so i didnt get any tornados just severe thunderstorms (literally lightning for 2 hours straight maybe 1 second between strikes)

yeah disney was pricey, i think for a 1 day park hopper pass for me and my GF, plus food and everything we spent well over 500$ for a day at disney. but it was worth it she had never been

I've been toying with the idea of going again. It was 15-20 years last time I went. It really depends on if I can snag tickets to the last shuttle liftoff and whether I can find anyone who has the time and money to possibly tag along. That's the bigger deal.

Well when the hard rock resort hotel open. We stayed at it and our room keys was front of the line passes all day. It's the only way to see universal studios. So hate all you want I had a blast.:p

In Disney parks the fastpass is included in the ticket price, you put your park ticket in and you get a pass giving you a slot to go later to get on the ride quicker.
Universal is a total con, you pay extra for the fastpass, when we went it was an extra $70 per person, so we paid an extra $280 on top of the tickets we'd already bought. I totally TOTALLY disagree with it, but the queues for the rides were 40-50 minutes each, I don't always ride so that would mean my family all queueing while I spent 40-50 mins just stood around waiting for them so yeah they bought the fast passes.

The Disney fastpass is the right way to go
That's a good system

Yeah it is, and like I say I dont agree with the Universal method. Last time we went I made a real scene at the cashier and made a point of telling them that the Disney ticket INCLUDES free fastpass, which incidently you can use as many times as you want, whereas the Universal one (same for Seaworld and Busch Gardens too) you pay for and are allowed to express pass once per ride, and I just refused point blank, but basically I just ended up not riding anything at all and standing around alot and basically me refusing a fastpass wasnt going to affect Universal in any way, so this year we already planned that we were going to get express passes. Another point to note for people planning to go to Orlando and planning to visit universal, the Harry Potter rides CANT be express pass'd

I feel that the Universal Studios Hollywood fastpass is worth it if you only have 1 day to spend there. Depending on the time that you arrive there and on what day, it's quite difficult to be able to ride everything and see all of the shows. My friend from S. Korea and I went last summer and arrived there at like 10-11am and got the fastpass and was able to do everything we wanted until the park closed. It was a really busy day and lines were long so they were definitely worth it. If we didn't have them... we wouldn't have been able to see all the shows. It was 104F that day so it was great that we didn't have to wait in line. As an added bonus, you also get behind the scenes access to Waterworld, T2: 3D, and Universal's Animal Actors.

Disney's fastpass works very differently than Universal's. With Universal, you get front of the line on everything and first admission to the shows. Disney's fastpass (from what I last remember) is that you are only allowed 2 at a time and you must ride at a certain time of day that is on each fastpass. I also believe that you have to wait until you are able to get more fastpasses (ex. 2 max every 4 hours or whatever). At Disneyland, the best rides to get fastpasses on are Space Mountain, Indiana Jones, Haunted Mansion, and Pirates.

Quick note: The fastpass at Universal Studios Hollywood is called "front of the line pass" (self explanatory).

I don't think haunted mansion at Disney world had a fast pass. It it did I would of got one to keep. One thing I noticed was at universal they lines seemed to wait longer because of the front of the line pass. Then if there was no pass system at all. I think Disney does it better. As one example was when we went to universal we rode the mib ride like 10 times in a row with in 1 hr. You could see peoples disgust in their faces when they realize we been through quite a few times.

So they are nice to have but can get aggervating if you dont have the extra money to buy the front of the line pass.
