Root When will reliable ICS roms be out?

When does everyone anticipate that a reliable (or I guess as reliable as MC7.1 or something similar) will be out?

There isnt going to be a set date that magically everything on ICS ROMS start to work. Deving is a time consuming process and many people don't understand the work involved.


You just have to wait.

I understand it's time consuming, I'm just wondering if it'll be another month, or another several months?

Most of the Alphas that are out are pretty stable but the biggest thing is no camera support. They will have to wait for HTC to deliver a ICS build do they can get the drivers for the camera or someone will have to write drivers. I would probably say end of January or early February before we get a solid ROM.

The roms will be ready before we expect them, but later than we'd hope for - if that makes sense.

I have an 11 year old girl and when mom has to work she is always asking me:
When is Mommy getting home?, My Response, When she pulls into the driveway.

So ICS will be fully ready and stable when the developer puts it out there. No sooner no later.

Hope i dont come across as a "butt" however that is the simple facts of life.

Once the 3vo gets the ICS update its on like Kong!
Or if htc releases any phone with ICS for that matter. Once 1 single ICS htc phone is released we'll have a port.
