Where are all the Android ladies at? Let's stick together

I'm another lady user of Android!

I've had my Milestone (/Droid) for about 6 weeks now and love it. I too text way more than talk so I really wanted a physical keyboard.

As soon as I started to read up on Android a bit more, the more I really wanted an Android phone. Seeing Gizmodo's first look post on the Droid pretty much sealed the deal for me, and I knew that was the phone I had been waiting for.

I had been in the market to buy one for about 8-9 months before I bought my Droid and was very very tempted by the E72 until I started thinking about screen size and how important it was to me to have Android.

Previously, I have been a very, very loyal Nokia user (all but 1 of my previous 5 phones were Nokias) but decided it was time for a change.

Since I bought my phone, my OH has loved playing with it and had decided he wanted an Android phone too and has since bought a HTC Desire.

To be honest, I never really thought of Android phones as being "masculine" or anything, but now that I think of it, my two closest female friends do have iPhones.... And aside from me, only people I know that have Android phones are dudes....

I'm a lady (barely)!
I bought the HTC Desire almost a week ago. I love it :D
My Twitter is my username here.

Another lady here and I love my Eris. Greatest phone I have ever owned.

We are a 2 Eris household and I work with a few other women that own Android phones.

it's official my htc desire landed today, does a lil dance...although i am not very lady like

both my closest female friends have iphones and after seeing their phones i got the bug, but android just appealed to me more:p

I have to admit, I'm (pleasantly) surprised there haven't been any "pics plzkthx" type comments from the guys! :P

Yay!

It's cool.

This is the lady thread so you might have to give it a pink background and theme.

cant use it just yet they neglected to post my sim card to me lol, but have been playing designing wallpapers and reading the manual and transferring everything onto my 16gb sd card in preparation,

Hi! I'm a female and I have a Motorola Cliq from t-mobile. Like I read from some of the other ladies here, I like the feel of a physical keyboard too. I am looking forward to learning about the customization I can do to my phone... being a HUGE customizer on my PC!! I'm still getting the hang of my phone, since it is my first smart phone. I am glad I chose it over the BB Curve. :-)

Oh and my twitter is the same - Rachelm920

Hahaha ... That's good, isn't it? Because Android (device) is big.

Anyway, but that's true. I found most my female friends don't care much about the OS. Size and looks of the device are more important for them.

Of course your experience will be different :D

So, I think, HTC must come up with Android device that appeals to female audience. Smallish, not masculine look, and not heavy.

Droid or Milestone for example, this is masculine look, boxed (rectanglish) design, black / silver ... compare to HTC Desire brownish one.

It's called the Eris! :D;)

I have the Motorola Droid............. I likes em big......................;)

No Twitter account though.........................sorry

Also female. I have the HTC Eris - love this phone, absolutely best phone I've ever owned even if it is in desperate need of an update..

No twitter account...I haven't been sucked into that world yet lol :)

I'm half a lady, according to my roommate, if that counts... and no I'm not a transvestite... god.

Je suis un homosexuel.

Me too! Me too!

I wanna hang with the ladies!

I just returned my Eris and went back to my EnV today. I'm going through serious Droid Withdrawl. But, I had to go back to my old device in order to avoid the $35 restocking fee. Verizon was great, no questions, didn't try to talk me into something else - I returned the phone, the pink case, and even the remaining two screen protectors with no problems.

Why did I return the Eris? I think the biggest reason is the keyboard. I really missed having a physical keyboard and frankly, the Eris was too . . . um . . . petite?

I am considering the Droid, unless the Incredible is absolutely irresistible. I'm looking at going through Amazon and paying only 19.99 instead of 199.00 at Verizon. Any thoughts?
