Where is this social group? On here?
I just got a few skins from Skinit.com for my Backflip...she looks so cute now! Trying to figure out how to post a pic...

If you go to the top of this page, under the title of this thread, there is a thin blue menu bar.

Click Social Groups and you'll be taken to the social groups page.

In the search box, enter "android gals" (no quotes).

Click Join Group.

Did you post more than one picture? I see the skin with white/black flowers but it looks like there are two others?

The other two were my attempts to post just the flowery one. I thought I deleted those...
Anyway, yes! The flowers are so cute...I also got a polka dot one and a pink ostrich texture looking one...
I dont think theses are as "reusable" as they say so when I change it up I will put more pics. The site is great they have so many choices!
 
oppendroid..I see you went back to your EnV..I used to have that...I miss it so much. Mr. Nololos wanted to switch to ATT so I had to say goodbye to my enV.
The backflip is the closest I have come to that phone...but better with a touch screen now. The thing I liked so much about the enV was you could do a "dramatic phone close" like snap it shut...you know what I mean?
You can do this with the Backflip...it just workd backwards. haha

I wish infectious.com would do skins for things other than Blackberries, Laptops, and iPhones. They have some really sweet designs.

T-Shirts, Custom Skins, iPod Skins, iPhone Skins, Laptop Skins, Art Prints, Skateboards, Wall Decals, and Car Decals by Infectious.

I love my EnV. I really do. It's orange - you don't find that color in a lot of cell phones today. I am honestly having a hard time getting to the store to pick up the Droid because I love this stupid little phone so much.

I must be getting old because I'm actually starting to think the new smartphones are too complicated - and I'm a technical writer! :eek:

And yes, I do love the "snapping it shut" sound! I never realized it before you mentioned it. HA! :D
 
Tally up another lady, cuz I love my Eris! Glad my husband got the Droid and made me jealous, cuz I love android! He calls me an android geek now cuz I'm always on here and other forums looking up great stuff for my phone. Left an EnV Touch to go the Eris and felt the Droid was too masculine.

Aaaaaaanyway...

I think there are a lot of android users of the female persuasion, but many don't know about the forums. Too bad too, they are missing out on lots of fun stuff!
 
Wow, I left this thread for awhile and now I come back and find a bunch of people like me! =) yay for ladies with android!

My mom just bought a Cliq, very impressed with her decision to leave the nokia flip phone behind haha. However the phone calls every other minute on how to do things are sorta entertaining. Props to mom leaving T9 texting in the dust.
 
I'm still trying to get my mom away from her Palm Treo. She really likes Android, but I think she is waiting for something really amazing on At&t.
 
Well, I've noticed that as Android gets more and more mainstream, there are more chicks with Androids :) Also, notice a 'huge' increase in females on AndroidForums in the past couple of months :)

Android Flower Power!!! :D

Both my parents have the Samsung Captivate now. I tried to get them away from At&t, but I got the, "Most of our friends have them......" argument so I didn't put much effort behind it. They really like the phones though. This is my mom's second smartphone after having the Treo, but she has used a Palm device for years. My dad is absolutely in love with the phone. It is his first smartphone and even though he originally wanted to get an iPhone (because his golf buddies have them), he is incredibly happy that he didn't. I now get regular texts from them telling me about apps they found or things they need to find.

They are both looking at the Galaxy Tab now. :rolleyes:Parents these days.



I'd like an update to see how many ladies are still around as well as how many new ladies have joined.

They both sound cool, OTD, 'specially dad and his texting you about apps, etc.

I can't believe my kid, she's 99% Apple stuff (MacBook, iPod, etc) and the other 1% Blackberry (her beloved Tour). :mad:

She does "approve" of my Fascinate, at least. :rolleyes:
