L attempt oQUOTE=Lykarsis;5295006]Working for me. The only issue I'm having is that my contacts either don't want to restore or they restore in triplicate.[/QUOTE]

Same, also found that if you install gapps prior to first boot, right after flash, messaging disappears and i couldn't connect to play store once I had logged in. Kept getting server connection error, but I had 4G LTE and 3g as well. Reflashing now and will to just install the apk's
EDIT: i may have had an old version of gapps... Haven't tried it with the latest versions yet

Data didn't last for me. I didn't try rebooting but I did try turning the radio off then on. I'm back on Eclipse for the moment. As soon as the next test build is available, I will be more than happy to test though.

Got d2a's ROM, diffed it against my cm9 build, and updated my cm10 tree. Building a new CM10 ROM now but I won't have time to test it immediately. Hope to have something over the weekend.

Also got AOKP41 built for the Nitro, so the relevant changes will go into there as well, and we'll see both released about the same time .. hopefully.

Oh .. d2a, I see pigz in your rom. What's the scoop with that, is it required by vzw stuff?

If you're referring to all the VZW stuff, for the moment yes. I'm going to try and figure out if SSO is really needed or if it just was a fluke that everything worked once it was added. Same goes with most of the other VZW stuff in there. The D4 build i've been going thru only has vzwapnpermission.apk and stk.apk, but our phone is far from normal. Last nights push was just to get 4G out to the masses to play with. This weekend will be leaning it down and doing more cleanup in build.prop

So was pigz in the open source stuff? I believe it's gpl. It's just a parallelized gzip.

NM my previous comment. I found the pigz binary you are referring to and I guess only D2A can really comment why it's there. It's not something from the 4G fix I put out.

After being on CM10 for about an hour I ran anTuTu a few times and the highest I got was 7172. Returning to CM9 now for a couple more runs but so far very impressed by the smoothness of both roms. Again, like it hasn't been said enough, awesome job everyone

Alright, this is a little scary lol. Redid the test on CM9 after letting it sit for a bit and I got 8032. This is one blazingly fast ROM

So far so good on this build. It still takes forever for it to find data on a reboot, but I have yet to have it not find the data connection. I just wish something in the logs would show what's triggering the kick start.

I guess I need to upgrade then.

Neph, or anyone else that has run cm9 for awhile, have you guys experienced any soft reboots? I've had several today running cm9

Been on 2nd update the moment it was uploaded by D2A. Everything normal. No reboots/Fcs. Did several reboots myself to test the data, 4G comes back 2-3 minutes after reboot. All of my applications are running. I did complete 3x3 wipe before install though (coming from rooted stock ICS). This is what I am going to use from now on...

All devs, Great job... I really appreciate what you have done for us....

I don't have data on the newest build. Not even after a wipe, but I flashed back to the first one with working data and I'm not having issues at all.

This data fix should work on cm10 right? I really hope the answer is yes:)

I'm on the new build and I'm having some force closes. I dirty flashed over the first build though. Plus I think maybe Rom toolbox restore is causing one of my force closes.

This is definitely nice though and will be my daily driver. I love how fast it boots.

I hope so but we won't know for sure until I try...

I've been running the updated build by d2a for most of the day, I found that it works best if you do a full wipe after installation and manually restore all info and apps and data wasn't working I was getting a lot of fc and reboots after using rom toolbox pro to restore info and apps. Since I did it all manually. Not a single problem. Pimp my rom seems to be working well with it as well. Installed a few inverted apps and I am one happy dude. Thanks neph, d2a, tdm and playfulgod!!!

Here's hoping CM10 gets data as well:)

Ok so the Verizon sso fc at the beginning and since I don't use the vzw apps anyway was a simple fix. All I did was go into settings/ apps and disabled both the sso services. Now there is no fc on boot which speeds up the boot time a little bit.

Also, Google now does run stably on this. I don't know if anyone has tested it out but I flashed it and it rebooted just fine with no problems.

Oh and I also found out that data on reboot stays there you just sometimes have to disable data and then re-enable it. Although you can use the *#*# method a much quicker way is via power control in the status bar or widget.

Can someone shoot me a link for gapps? some reason I can't get to xda... Thanks in advance! Oh and mrgoodpaul is it the inverted version or regular of Google now?
