I figured we could use this thread to determine best PRL's for which regions.

Ill start.

LOCATION: Davenport, IA (Quad Cities, IA/IL)

PRL: 60683

up: 457kbps

PRL: 22081
dl: 1183kbps
up: 289kbps

PRL: 11115

up: 346kbps

PRL: 60681

PRL: 60711

I have not done nearly as much testing as you have,

I have 11115 and 2434 down and 1322 up on the stock prl I dont even remember which one it was 890 down tops normally between 345-459. with <200 up.

before 11115 I used 01115 with similar results. only reason I changed was the newer prl.

According to popular belief all Boost Mobile customers live in the hood and sell dope, but on a serious note:

Lima, Ohio... I tried a couple of Sprint PRL's and they worked better when they worked. Full power signal everywhere in town most days and then I'd have days where it wouldn't hold a signal at all in the exact same location it was perfect the day before so I'm back to 61007.

I myself didnt really see much difference with any of the sprint prl's..I proablly tried 6 or 7 different ones..and the best results i had were with prl 11115..Dont remember what ups and downs were..I eventully just switched back to stock boost prl. Ill try out a few and post real results though

Washington Dc and Northern VA

60683 is the default Sprint-subscriber prl. I think. I've tried a few different ones and none of them really made that much of a difference... I've defaulted to the 61007 prl. The default for Boost.

Easton, PA and Phillipsburg, NJ.

Hmm...This perception should actually be used by Boost Marketing to their advantage.

From what I have seen in Movies and ABC After School Specials the following is true, but I may be wrong:

One needs an inexpensive Hardy phone in the Hood due to the constant risk to its ownership and longevity.

One needs an inexpensive Data Plan with the Hope (Hope is all important in the Hood) of eventual lower payments and the reality of a sympathetic ISP willing to work with wild fluctuations in cash flow and last minute family budget changes due to variables too numerous to enumerate or admit to under oath.

In the Import/Export Business a reliable phone signal is Crucial to prevent interruption of business and interruption of personal freedom and interruption of body function.

A Tricked Out Bling Phone such as the Prevail with enhancements from this Forum is a True Hood Status Symbol earning both Respect/Fear and possible Even More attention from the Ladies.

The downside is the attention from those who also would like to have the same phone without providing the revenue to Boost and possibly also Depriving you of its use and also the use of other needed faculties.

Those ABC After School Specials were very educational.

Too bad that they were based upon stereotypes that we all know have NO basis in reality.

Absolutely brilliant

I am in the Reno/Carson City, NV area. tried 01115 and am currently on 11115. both are better when actually connected, but staying connected is where there are some issues. Lots of non-suburbia (yet still plenty of drugs and thugs) out here.

Right outside of Bakersfield, Ca. . I rarely if ever loose signal after switching to 11115 . Thanks Optimus ! :D

I'm just north of New Optimus in a little town called Yulee, FL.

I'm about 1 mile from a tower and sitting at home my signal is 0 to none.
I tried most ALL the sprint prls before my cdma trial expired and saw no
improvement whatsoever.

Yeah a lot of pines between me and the tower. Not so much at my house just oaks but nonetheless a lot of pines in between.

Pretty impressive.

I'm also in the QC and I've never seen speeds anywhere near that no matter what PRL I tried.

Care to share what tower/area/time-of-day those measurements were taken from?

I bet that's your problem . Pine trees are one the hardest things for cell , satellite and other signals to penetrate . Optimus posted that he was having a similar issue some time back . I had problems with satellite signal do to pine trees a few years back . Had to end up moving my dish .

Ya at home my signal sucks, I get dialup speeds or worse. <50kbs but 1/4 mile down the road I get great signal.
