where to find SU binary?

[qandres12]

Alright well i have the this old phone thats rooted but its rooted method doesnt allow the su binary from superuser to update. Now the phone i have is not revelent to this thread so please dont ask me what type of phone i have. I know where the forums are but this is not a device specific question. Im simply trying to find the a place online where i can find the latest su binary for superuser. im stuck on 3.0.3.2 but the latest is 3.1.1. I want to see if i can manually push the binary to update it since the app itselfs fails to do it. if such a place doesnt exist online, as ive look but nothing found, could anyone post up the latest binary for me

Look up super su in the playstore. My phone can see it...
I don't know if playstore filters by phone.

not sure but have you tried looking in one of the latest ROM's for the device

It is starting to sound kinda device specific to me. Did you try asking the question in the All-Things-Root sub-forum of your phone's forum?

The foruma for that phone is dead now. Only a single dev existsbut he is busy with life. Everyone else has pretty much moved on and.keeps the phone as a spare, including me. Anyways it doesnt really matter anymore. Manually pushing the su binary.causes me to lose root. Its not really a problem being on the old binary seeing how it still works, just kinda bugs me.
