I found, i didnt pick the Desire solely for its looks. I think its purely by chance you end up with a product that you truley love the look of, and for-fill your needs. If i had a choice of colour, i wouldnt have looking like it does, i just live with it.

No, that colour does nothing for the Desire! I like my brown (though it looks more purpley to me). It's tasteful, understated and extremely stylish. Like me (yeah, right)

In most light it just looks grey to me then in some light it looks like a browny purple. Most is covered by my case anyway..

I recently read an article about all the cracking problems that apple have had with white products because white plastic is inherently weak because you can't put much carbon in it without affecting the colour (one of the reasons for the all glass and metal style of the new iphone?) I doubt HTC know anything about making white plastic that Apple don't so I think i'll pass thanks.
