Build a Froyo ROM. Create a new account. Started a thread and let rack up 1500 posts. The reveal yourself. That'd be great.
 
I think it is really childish and pathetic of someone to play junior detective / ROM police and notify some random guy on the internet that they've essentially told on them to the teacher. These ROMs, like them or not, are not officially licensed or sanctioned files for use on our phones. Devs found work arounds to get our devices rooted and capable of accepting any ROM we choose to put on them.

For their work, I'm highly appreciative.

However, coming from the WiMo side of things, the majority of folks I'm running into are just a bunch of inconsiderate children. WiMo people seemed so grateful, so appreciative of anything devs were able to come up with for their devices. At least for the Eris community, there are far greater numbers of meatheads that would rather shutter what would otherwise be a worthwhile project for the sake of...I honestly don't know what their actual motivation is. For all intents and purposes the White Widow ROM worked, and worked well. Not many devs could say that about their builds. OK, so the WW dev may have included apps that he should not have. Let the developers hash it out. Offering up your own political commentary on the matter doesn't solve the problem.

Finally, and I'll close with this:

Thank you for White Widow. It was the first CE-based ROM that I tired that actually worked and did everything I wanted it to. (Still is)
 
I gotta say....4.3 is pretty ****in PIMP.... one question....how do I program my vm # to *86P****# ? It wont let me type the letter 'P" ....
Anyone?

Dude if you want to make a go of it. I have hosting lined up for site. File downloads. Discussion forums, Whateva. Got bandwidth and storage taken care of. I know word press and adsense. Can you build a rom sans the google apps and just post a package ?



sent to me earlier. maybe ill give it one more go. already removed the google apps and the paid apps from the rom.
this time there should be no issues.

also releasing a quick sense build soon. i know theres a ton of them out there but i think ill throw out as many as i can.

anyone thats having 4.3 issues. Flash 4.1 get it all loaded then flahs 4.3 OVER 4.1 NO WIPE. Got it running beautiful. Andrizoid, whats this 4.4???
 
thanks for keeping this rom alive.. I was actually got flash it today but when I got around to it, it was already shut down. I hop on tonight and see that it's on here and cant wait to try it.
 
Good on you man. No lets see you blow em out with a froyo build. I'd rather be using ww than any 2.2 that ha hit so far.

Check the first post regularly. Andrizoid cleaned up all the bits in question and there is now White Widow 4.4 ~clean~

I'll be watching the thread today if anyone has any trouble flashing the removed packages !
 
I checked there about an hour ago and got the generic search page..but it's good to know he's come to his senses.. er, ROMS.. ;)
