Root White Widow

first of all I wanna say that I Love this ROM so far, however I do have a question, when I try to change the wallpaper, it seems like I can only chose from the ADW home app, but when I try to access any other wallpaper from other folder (Pictures) it won't save it as my regular wallpaper, unless I select it directly from the app, for example ZEDGE. Is there something Im doing wrong? is there a way to fix this?
Then again lovin the ROM :D

ok, so i registered on Andrizoids new site, and i was never sent a passwrod, and when I request a new one, it keeps saying "internal error" .... wtf am i doing wrong?? First i cant get any MM themes to work.....then the lockscreen patch keeps causing a bootloop, now this....
 
We'll check into that for ya, hang in there. It'll be worth it. Andrizoid's been quiet, I'll bet he's cooking something up.

i can only get SOME things to work...for instance...i can change the notification bar with Kevlars mash....and change the battery icons.....but cant change to a theme...
All i really want is the friggin slide lockscreen... anyone....Bueller???
 
ROM is killer fast. Only issue I am having is this: I am not able to perform a google search by pushing the "search soft key" button. I push search after I type and nothing happens. Anyone come across this?

i remapped that to the camera. long press brings up camera
 
few days of having this rom, it is awesome. i just wish there was the smart phone number finder. ALSO i saved my friend list into sd card and imported it but i dont see them on my friend list. when they call or if i call them with their number, it shows their saved pic from before. the phone seems to have the names and numbers inputted but it just doesnt show on the contact list. how do i fix this?

download dialer one in the market for the smart dialer
 
Anyone have a trick for setting a picture I downloaded as the wallpaper. Gallery just makes me crop it over and over and wont set it as a background. Only ones it's letting me use are the ones available in the background picker with the 10 stock backgrounds.

I had the same problem and the way I found that works for me is, going directly to the gallery (3D gallery) pick the wallpaper from there and apply it as u wallpaper, It did work for me :D

Is there a 'set as' or an 'apply as wallpaper' button im missing in the gallery. Teach me your ways lol

Ok so u go in to ur apps a select the 3D gallery then u go in to the folder where u have the wallpaper, u select the wallpaper and on the bottom will say MENU > MORE > set as >wallpaper Gallery, > SAVE
 
It worked but damn does it look like crap. This image was made to the correct sizes and everything but it makes me crop it. Oh well guess ill stick with stock wallpapers :\
 
I know excactly what u mean, I tried another wallpaper and it doesnt look good for some reason, I wish there was another way to apply the wallpaper without loosing resolution
 
Well you got to keep in mind the scrolling between screens. The pictures need to be horizontal, not vertical, so that they are stretched the right way.

Sorry I haven't ben posting, that kitchen has been taking up a lot of my time, and now I'm busy workimg on a few cool new little things :D

yay :) and no problem 4.4 is running like cake so no necessary updates.

Would be lovely if you could put some time into getting the gallery to rotate. Not a huge biggy but itd be nice.

thats something a bit over my head. i dont do application development but when i get some spare time ill look, something on the 2.1.3 leak fixed it, maybe i could isolate what changed.
 
Haha. I'll have to let my coffee dealer know then :-P

Actually any money donated goes to getting me a new Eris. One for personal use and one for testing.

I'm also moving at the end of the month, so I may be putting that money towards house things-we have no furniture :-o

Either way its appreciated a lot.

I may have something new soon, I have a long plane ride and all my files already downloaded so i may be able to get everything done
